Senior Quote

1.  If you did not take a senior portrait at Expression Portrait Design, don’t submit a quote

2.  Find a favorite quote, saying or write something yourself. Think about song lyrics, movie quotes, quotes from your favorite show, quotes from historical figures, etc.

3.  Write your quote in the gridded box on the bottom of this page. Use only one letter per square. Spaces between words should be one square and you must have spaces between your words. You cannot have all capital letters. Don’t use a hyphen to continue your word on the next line.

4.  Make sure to attribute the quote to whoever said it, or we’ll google it to attribute your quote (unless you wrote it yourself!).

5.  Numbers and initials will not be allowed in the quote. Example: “thanks MK”. “2 my friends” Write in English, not in text-style.

6.  No offensive quotes or reference to sex, drugs, alcohol or unintelligible messages.

7.  Quotes should be turned into M-202 or Mrs. Shaffer’s box in the office by
Thursday, September 29, 3 p.m.

8.  You are not required to have a senior quote, but it is encouraged so the page looks complete.

9.  Please remember you will have this quote under your picture for a long time—think about what you might want to read under your photo 20 years from now!

10.  The yearbook staff reserves the right to refuse any quote on the grounds of good taste. We recommend not making a reference to a boyfriend or girlfriend….just in case things go bad! If we reject your quote, we will contact you to rewrite it.
