What is Chatter?
Chatter brings chamber music to unconventional, intimate venues and fosters curiosity about, and understanding of, today’s composers by juxtaposing and weaving together new and traditional classical music. Chatter offers adventuresome programming and informative engagement between musicians and audience plus challenging opportunities for professional musicians. Each Chatter performance brings together music and poetry for a truly unique and inspiring audience experience.
For the first time ever, Chatter Artistic Director and AYSP alum, David Felberg, is curating a private Chatter performance for YCO students only at Las Puertas Event Center!
Schedule
3:30pm – Arrive at Las Puertas
4:00pm – Private Chatter performance
5:30pm – Catered dinner while students socialize with professional musicians
7:30pm – Depart Las Puertas
Price Per Student: $90 (includes private performance and catered dinner)
Commitment Form: A commitment form will be sent out by email. Please sign and return the commitment form by January 20, 2016.
Financial Aid: Financial aid applications will be sent out by email. Families may request up to $45 in financial aid for this experience. Aid is need-based and depends on the amount available for distribution.
PAY FOR YOUR WHOLE TOUR WITH LUMINARIAS! You only need to sell 25-30 dozen luminarias to pay for the full cost of this tour. Any amount earned over $90 may be applied to the 2017 tour in any AYSP ensemble.
