Today our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students celebrated the completion of NECAP testing. Students worked incredibly hard during the testing, and their efforts were recognized today at a special celebration. These students have made Lonsdale proud!

No need to stress out over holiday cooking, our Phantom Farm Fundraiser is here! Delicious pies, fudge, brittle and floral arrangements will be a big hit at any table. Orders are due by Tuesday, November 12th. Checks can be made payable to LPT and be sure to put your phone number on the order form. All items will be delivered to school on Tuesday, November 26th, just in time for Thanksgiving. Pick up times are from 3-5 pm and 6:30-7:30 pm.

Lonsdale's Family Halloween Dance will take place next Friday, October 25th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Lincoln Middle School. The cost is $2 per person for everyone over 3 years old, including adults. The night will include pizza, dancing, and activities. For those who arebrave enough, there will also be a Gross Out Zone!Costumes for the whole family are encouraged.An orange invitation with all the details went home this week in your child's backpack. Please return the bottom portion of the invitation with payment by October 21st.

If you are looking fora way to earn your Parent Paw, please consider volunteering for a half-hour shift at the Halloween Dance. In order to make sure the night runs smoothly, the LPT is looking for parents to supervise specific areas, suchas Smencilsales and snacks throughout the night. If you are interested, please e-mail Ally Gordon at ASAP.

A big "Thank You" to everyone who attended the Restaurant Fundraiser Night at The Lodge on Wednesday night. If you weren't able to attend this event, your LPT will be organizing another restaurant night in December at a different local restaurant. Join us then!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out the 5th Annual Blackstone River Duck Race on Sunday, October 20th, at Hope Globe on Martin Street in Cumberland. Festivities for the day start at 11am, with the main event taking place at 1pm when the ducks are released into the river. The kids can enjoy some of the activities like rock climbing and the bouncy house before seeing which lucky duck wins the $2,500 grand prize. Good luck to all the ducks!

Please help our less fortunate Lincoln neighbors enjoy a nice holiday meal. The Town of Lincoln is running their annual Basket Program to collect food items for Lincoln residents in need. An orange flyer went home this week via backpack and lists the type of food items being collected. Please consider sending in an item or two for these much appreciated baskets. Donations will be taken at school up until November 8th. Thanks for your support!

The Summer Box Tops Collection Drive Winners have been announced! Congratulations to first grader Logan Brown in Ms. Cole's class and fifth grader Eric Labossiere in Mrs. Moore's class for being the top Box Tops Collectors. Mrs. Moore's class was the classroom that collected the highest amount of Box Tops overall. Individual and classroom prizes were awarded this week. Thanks to everyone who participated and remember to keep clipping as another contest is just around the corner.
