To confirm your booking we request a small deposit (£50). We suggest that you check all your other arrangements as soon as possible and then a firm booking can be made.
You may like to come to church as you prepare for your wedding. We would be delighted to welcome you so that you can enjoy being part of the church family.
Our main services on Sundays are:
10.30am each Sunday on Second Sundays of the Month we have Informal Worship on other weeks we have Holy Communion (Sung but in modern language) or Morning Prayer.

We ask that you return to see us three months before your wedding day. Details of what we will cover then is provided overleaf.
Three months before your Wedding
Please contact us three months before your wedding. We will then help you to finalise the arrangements for your Wedding Service.
As part of this we will:
You will then have a chance to think in detail about your wedding day together. Will we ask you to return a week or so later and we can then ensure that we have all the information we need so that your day runs smoothly.
You will also be offered a place at one of our wedding preparation sessions. This will help you make decisions about the service and reflect upon what this important day means for you as a couple.

Important: The Statutory fees are set by the national church. If your wedding in not in the current calendar year the fess stated below are only provisional. The fees may go up in the following year.

Other Considerations
If either of you is not a UK citizen or a citizen of a European Economic Area country then the church requires that you are married by common license rather than by Banns.
This requires that you visit the Bishop’s Surrogate locally and swear an affidavit. There is a fee of £200 payable to the surrogate but the Banns fee is not charged. Please note this fee is set centrally and varies from time-to-time so please check at the time of processing.
