Social Bowls & Sausage Sizzle

A social bowls afternoon followed by a sausage sizzle has been organised forThursday 21st December. Names in by 3.30 for 4.00 pm start of bowls. All welcome!!

Pennants Competitions

At the halfway mark of the season, all pennant sides are positioned around the middle of the respective ladders but with a couple of wins early in 2018 could see some sides vying for the finals. The ladies’ pennant side, although in 8th position are only 17 points (just more than one good win) behind fourth place.

Club Tournaments

Please ensure all games are played by the due dates. If you have approached your opponent(s) re a playing date with no answer, please advise the tournament committee before the due date, otherwise both parties will be scrubbed if game not completed in time.

New Social and Fundraising Director

The committee is proud to announce that Darryl Chynoweth (DC) has kindly volunteered to join the committee as Social Director and also assist Bar Manager Neil Donnelly as Assistant Bar Manager. The committee is also very grateful of DC deputising as Bar manager while Neil was recuperating from illness. We wish DC well in his new portfolio and ask all members to assist, not only DC, but all committee members to share the load in running our great club.

PLEASE REMEMBER, MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!!!

New clubroom ceiling

The committee has approved the replacement of the old ceiling area above the wooden floor at a cost of $2,500.00. Facilities manager, Basil Ireland, as ordered the material and if you’re able to assist in any way, please contact Basil. The new ceiling will definitely compliment all other clubroom improvements.

Club Parking

The committee has requested all members refrain from parking at the rear of the clubrooms and utilise the great carparking facility the council has provided.
