15 Hours of Service

Service has been a valued part of this class. Students routinely speak of the learned experiences, lessons, and knowledge they gain from working within a service framework--at PSU and in the greater Portland metropolitan area.

Your 15 Hours of Service component for the class (25%) includes:

●Cumulative hours

●Exam book (green or blue book) submitted with notes, observations, and notable impacts

●15 Hrs of Service paper to Dropbox at the end of the quarter

Of the required 15 hours of service, a minimum of 10 of those hours need to be with the PSU pantry; the other 5 hours can be completed at one of four locations:

●Additional 5 hours with the PSU pantry

○Contact Liddy Champion, Coordinator of the PSU Food Pantry ()

●Potluck in the Park’s commercial kitchen (potluckinthepark.org)

●Harvest Share at PSU (only Mondays, April 11, May 9, June 13; approximately 11.30 a.m.-1.30 p.m.)

●Oregon Food Bank (oregonfoodbank.org)
