Do you shop on Amazon? Many families love the convenience of shopping on Amazon; there’s nothing you can’t find there! But, did you know that every time you shop on Amazon, you could be benefiting the Band Boosters?
You can support the band program every time you shop, at no cost to you, when you shop Amazon through AmazonSmiles. Choose us as your charity and Amazon will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to Sandra Day O’Connor Band Boosters.
Participating is Easy!
To begin shopping for the band program, you only need to select us as your charity one time, then remember to use our AmazonSmile link each time you shop. That’s it! A few minutes to set up is all it takes.
If you type the word “smile.” before Amazon.com, you will be brought to the same Amazon site but on the fundraising side.
You can see the sites look almost the same . . . except for the “smile”.
The first time you go to the “Smile” site, you will be asked to choose the organization that you want to support. Search for “Sandra Day O’Connor Band Boosters” and click Select.
Once you have chosen your charity, Amazon will remember this for future visits; you will not need to select your charity each time you shop. However, you DO need to begin your shopping session by entering Amazon through or through our booster link Also, if you have Amazon bookmarked, make sure you change your bookmarks so that you go to smile.amazon.com. We only get credit if you order from the Smile site.
You can be sure you are shopping for Sandra Day O’Connor Band Boosters by looking at the top left of your screen while you are shopping on Amazon. You should see the AmazonSmile logo and Sandra Day O’Connor Band Boosters as your supporting charity. Additionally, when you check out, in your order summary screen there will be a confirmation that your order is benefiting your charitable organization.
If you forget to go through smile.amazon.com and have a cart full of items, you can simply type in your browser’s address bar and hit enter. You will then enter AmazonSmile with all of your purchases still in your cart. No need to empty your cart and start over!
AmazonSmile is an excellent way for families to contribute to our band program without having to give up extra time or money. If all of our parents who use Amazon would remember to shop through AmazonSmile, we could increase our annual fundraising without having to ask our families to do any more than the shopping they would have done anyway!

Yes, you use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.
How do I select a charitable organization to support when shopping on AmazonSmile?
On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), you need to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. We will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation.
How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?
