Due to our continued growth, we are seeking to hire an Associate Product Manager – Licensed Product. The Associate Product Manager – Licensed Product will be responsible for leading ASO’s licensed product marketing strategy across all categories including both branded and private label products. Position responsible for both strategic and day-to-day management of licensing plans and programs to drive product volume and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
● Delivers the licensing operating plan: achievement of product licensing growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and ROI for the all ASO channels/categories of business and/or key customer(s).
● Licensing Champion – Works with outside consultant to identify license opportunities, sign deals, and sell ASO licenses both internally and externally.
● Provides day-to-day communication with licensors relaying key information (forecasts, sell-in information, and financial metrics).
● Provides day to day communication & coordination with Sales regarding licensor opportunities and agreements.
● Provides full lifecycle management of new and existing licensed products across all categories. Manages key coordination and communication between internal departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality) managing licensed inventory to maximize turns and minimize obsolescence.
● Works alongside the New Product Development Team in developing and managing new licensed product launches.
● Design & create sell sheets and sales materials for product launches, trade shows, and sales meetings
● Manages artwork execution from concept stage through licensor approval in coordination with the Creative Services team to ensure artwork is delivered against Production deadlines.
● Leads ASO’s knowledge of licensed market trends. Articulates consumer licensing trends critical to make sound business decisions. Leads ASO’s pipeline of licensing opportunities.
● Manages ASO communication regarding licensing activity.
● Responsible for licensing category positioning, communications and merchandising strategies.

Qualification

Education & Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
● 1-3 years CPG marketing, design, licensing or product management experience.
● Both brand and private label experience preferred.
● Experience with a large consumer packaged goods corporation preferred.
