In order to be successful, you need to reach the number of points assigned by the teacher. (This may vary as the year progresses)

Idea 1: This is very basic. You may simply write a sentence using each word. Each sentence must demonstrate the correct meaning of the word. (5 points)

Idea 2: Make a set of flashcards with the vocabulary words on one side and the definition on the other. You may use Quizlet.com for this activity. (5 points)

Idea 3: Make up a crossword puzzle using your vocabulary words. You need to include an answer key. (5 points)

Idea 4: Make up a test using all of the words. Creativity counts. You may not just write the word and leave a blank for fill-in. Have a variety of matching, multiple choice, fill in the blank, etc. You need at least three different types of questions and an answer key. (5 points)

Idea 5: Write each word in a column. In a second column, write a synonym for each word and in a third column write an antonym for each word. (10 points)

Idea 6: Write all your vocabulary words in a list and then across from them write the name of a person who exemplifies that word. This person should be well known; not the name of your friend or relative. It may also be a well known character. (10 points)

Idea 7: Draw pictures that symbolize the meaning of all your vocabulary words. The pictures should be drawn neatly, colored, and labeled for credit. (10 points or 15 points if your picture is ONE unified scene and still has all the words represented)
