“You Go..Shall Speak With New Tongues”
Mark 16: 15-20- Shall speak with new tongues; Confirm the Word with signs following.
Sign: Something that suggests the presence or existence of a fact; public display of a message
Acts 1: 4-5- Ye shall be baptized w/Holy Ghost
Acts 1: 14- One accord in prayer/One Mind-One Spirit
Acts 2: 1-13-Baptized w/Holy Ghost
What was the SIGN? How did others know that that something had happened?
1 Cor 12:10- Diverse KINDS (plural) or tongues: This was a Sign tongue
1 Cor 14: 21-22- Tongues for a Sign to Unbelievers, in public worship.
Acts 8: 5-17- Phillip preached Christ to the Samaritans, Believed His preaching and were baptized. Peter and John were sent to pray for them that they would RECEIVE (Take) the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10: 42-48- The Jews were astonished. What was the sign to the circumcision that they had received the Holy Ghost?—vs. 46- They heard, with natural ears, speak with tongues…
Acts 11:12-17- vs. 15-…as on us at the beginning…vs. 16—Jesus said…ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Acts 19: 1-6: Paul laid hands on them and the Holy Ghost came upon them and they spoke w/ other tongues.
Eph 5:17-18- but be being filled, continuously…
John 7:37-39-out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water..
Prov 18:4-The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook
John 4:14- But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life
Prov 4:22-24- For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
