·  HB 263 - THE ANTI-BULLYING LAW HAS BEEN REVISED AND BULLYING POLICY WILL HAVE TO BE UPDATED. THERE IS NOT YET A MSBA SAMPLE TO REVIEW

·  HB 537- TEACHER YEARS OF EXPERIENCE CAN NOW INCLUDE TEACHERS WHO HAVE TAUGHT AT AN ACCREDITATED COMMUNITY COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.

·  HB 1116 – ALL BOARD MEETINGS ARE TO BE POSTED ON DISTRICT WEBSITES AND BOARD PACKETS, LESS PERSONNEL AND OTHER RESTRICTIVE ITEMS, ARE TO BE COPIED AND PUT ON THE DISTRICT WEBSITE AS WELL. ALSO, TWO COPIES OF THE PACKETS ARE TO BE BROUGHT FOR THE AUDIENCE FOR THEIR REVIEW. IN ADDITION, SPECIAL BORD MEETING AGENDAS ALSO MUST BE POSTED ON THE DISTRICT WEBSITE NO LESS THAN ONE HOUR BEFORE THE MEETING.

·  IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, ALL WORK SESSIONS MUST HAVE AGENDAS AND BE POSTED TO THE DISTRICT WEBSITE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. MINUTES WILL REFLECT THAT THERE WAS A WORK SESSION AND THE REASON FOR IT AS WELL AS BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT.
