HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

GENERAL

Yearbooks will be distributed Today.The following areimportantguidelines:

-Students MUST have a student ID in order topick up a book.

-Students may onlypick up their own book.

-Students will be called to room 214 by homeroom. Please wait for your homeroom to be announced.

-Finally, TODAY is ONLY for students who already purchased a book. There are some extra books that will be made available to students on Wednesday morning. Students will be called to activities by grade level. Books will cost $90 and only cash will be accepted.

The spring musical, Crazy For You, DVDS are now available for pick up in the Activities Office.

Caps and Gowns were distributed in homeroom last week.In order to receive your cap and gown, you will need to have taken care of any outstanding obligations – cafeteria fines, library fines, textbooks, calculators, etc.

It's that time of year again - June. Make your to-do list and add "Return library materials" at the top. Look under your bed, in the car, or under that heap of books and clothes in your locker. Been ignoring those pesky fine notices in homeroom? Want to know how to quit getting them? Stop in the library and find out.

 Congratulations to the seniors who were in attendance at Senior Awards Dinner. If you were the recipient of an in-house scholarship please turn in the requested college information to the Activities Office ASAP.

If you are still interested in purchasing DVD of the 2014 Talent Show your in luck! Order forms can be picked up in Activities. Please return you order form and money by Wednesday, June 11th.

ACTIVITIES

All 2014-2015 Dance team, Silk Line and Majorette members, there is a Mandatory Parent meeting tonight (Tuesday, June 10th) in the Band Room at 6:30. See you then!

AP CLASSES

AP Spanish: Students taking AP Spanish next year, please see Ms. Anton for your summer assignment. She is in Room 110 period 7 and Room 109 periods 8 & 9.

Students who have registered for AP Literature next year should plan to attend one of two brief meetings after school next week. The meetings are Wednesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 12, and will take place in room 311. Meetings will begin at 2:30 and last no more than 30 minutes.

All students taking AP US History next year please come to room 218 at this time to pick up your summer assignment.

Any student enrolled in AP Physics for next year should pick up the summer assignment from Mr. Dudley in room 208.

Attention students taking AP Chemistry next year, please see Mrs. Murphy in Room 207 for your summer assignment.

All students registered for AP Biology next year should pick up their summer assignment from Mrs. Chomyn in room 213

Silkline Seniors: Senior-Performance flags NEEDto handed to Ms. Bittner in

Room 203 by Thursday, June 12th. If your flag is not turned in you will not be allowed to walk during Graduation!

So you thought all the Spring sports were finished for the school year. Not so. If you see Bri Schwartz, wish her luck for this weekend. Bri has been invited to New York City for the Addidas Golden Mile. She will be competing with the top high school milers in the country. The Track and Field Team and the coaches wish you the best.

The Track and Field Team will have a picnic at North Park on Wednesday, June 11th after school. The name of the grove is Harmar. It is near the swimming pool at North Park. If you have any questions please see Mr. Duschor Mr. Eskra. Also, anyone who still owes money for the tickets or uniforms you must turn this in before the picnic.
