Dialogue: The words spoken by people in a film/TV show. The tone and emphasis used in dialogue can affect the way in which the viewer responds to people, places, objects, and ideas being discussed.

Tone: Tone is the emotional energy put into speech. This is commonly achieved through changing the pitch of the voice, and can indicate sarcasm, excitement, anger, sadness, and a variety of other emotions.
