XBOM 2: Rise of The Shadow Titan

(Back In Black by: AC/DC) Hundreds of people are seen packed together outside Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters holding signs of XBOM and cheering as a car drove past the crowd speeding toward the front of the school. The car then stopped at the front of the school right before the stairs. The car door opened and Titus suddenly got out wearing a black leather jacket with a red X symbol on the back of it along with a pair of black sunglasses. Titus walked up the steps of the school as the crowd cheered even louder with hundreds of flashes appearing from phones and camerasas he pushed opened the front doors. Titus then strolled through the halls of the school as the other students looked at him. Titus made no eye contact with anyone and continued to look straight as he walkedforward. Titus then turned and opened the door to Professor Xavier’s office and walked inside. “Hello Professor” Titus said as he walked in. A hidden door then opened near one of Professor Xavier’s walls revealing a secret elevator. “Hello Titus…” Professor Xavier replied as Titus walked into the hidden elevator, “You know you’re late aga-“ “Ah keep the dialogue short” Titus explained as the hidden door started to close, “Or you will ruin the song.” The hidden door then closed and the elevator began to bring Titus underground to the X-MEN’s secret base. Titus hummed to himself as he waited on the elevator. The elevator doors then opened and Titus walked off the elevator and into the X-MEN fortress and walked down the halls. “Titus” Beast said as he walked by Titus. “Mr. McCoy!” Titus replied as he high fived Beast. “Where did you get that jacket?” Beast asked as he examined Titus’ jacket. “I honestly have no idea” Titus answered as he continued to walk. Titus then turned and pressed a button on a device next to a door. “Activating retinal scanner” The device stated. Titus then lowered his sunglasses as a scanner appeared from the device and scanned Titus’ eye. “Please proceed with hand, identification” The machine stated. “Awe come on with the advanced security Draco” Titus replied. Titus then placed his hand on the device and the device scanned Titus’ hand. “Access granted” The device stated as the door opened, “Welcome Titus, Adams-“ “Yeah I know who I am” Titus replied as he walked through the door. As Titus walked through the hall he passed by multiple objects framed on the wall. Titus passed by a newspaper article that stated: “New horrors of mutants spotted”. Titus then passed another article that stated: “New mutant team named XBOM: Heroes or Enemies?” Titus then stopped and looked at a glass container that contained what appeared to be a skeleton head of a female ninja. “Michelle…” Titus stated as he shook his head and continued walking. Titus then passed a picture of XBOM with Medic holding a selfie stick. After, Titus passed another article that stated: “XBOM and Avengers: Saviors of Earth!”. Titus then passed a picture of XBOM at their graduation. Finally, Titus walked forward and turned down the hall. “Nothing like a stroll down old memory lane” Titus stated to himself.

The members of XBOM waited in the kitchen and in the den. Cobalt could be seen playing a handheld videogame on the couch while Draco sat across from him reading a newspaper.Gabby was seen in the kitchen baking. Suddenly the door opened and Titus walked in and each member of XBOM looked up at him. “What took you so long man?” Cobalt asked. “Wait, wait, wait” Titus replied as he held his hand up, “Ok, the song ended. Continue.” “Damn” Cobalt replied as he looked back at his handheld game. “You’re late Titus” Medic stated as she walked by him. “Aren’t I always fashionably late?” Titus asked. “An hour is not fashionably moron” Michelle answered as she walked into the den. Michelle then kicked Kristie who was sleeping on the couch. Kristie quickly jumped up and Michelle sat down next to her. “I was not an hour late” Titus stated. “Precisely one hour, five minutes, and thirty seconds” Draco answered. “Thanks Draco” Titus replied. “What’s with the glasses and leather jacket?” Kristie asked as she got up and walked over to the kitchen. “Had to look good” Titus answered. “Ok there, Blade” Kristie said as she looked through a draw in the kitchen. “Eating again Kristie?” Titus asked as he took his sunglasses off. Kristie suddenly held up a frying pan and pointed it at Titus and stated, “I will use this.” Titus held his hands up and smiled. Kristie then grabbed a mug that stated: “Everything I learned, I learned from the movies” and began to pour herself coffee. “So Titus” Gabby asked as she sat up on the counter, “What have you been up to?” “This should be great to hear” Michelle replied. “Nothing really” Titus answered. “Hah” Cobalt laughed still looking at his game, “He’s been sucking up all the glory man I’ll tell you that much.” “Thanks for explaining dude” Titus replied as he held his hand out and lifted Cobalt’s handheld telekinetically. Titus then brought the handheld over to himself and grabbed it. “Man, you no fun” Cobalt replied as he sat back and crossed his arms. “Well we’re glad to finally see you happy and loved Titus” Medic stated. “Woah, woah, let’s not go that far” Titus replied, “Happy maybe a bit but the last time I was loved was-“ “Ehem!” Michelle interrupted as she cleared her throat. “Right” Titus said as he stopped talking. “If we are done with the reunion” Draco stated as he put the newspaper down, “We have much to discuss.” “Of course Draco” Titus replied, “What have you been up to?” “Mostly working on our team Blackbird” Draco answered as he began to explain, “Was successfully able to add in an autopilot feature after multiple failed attempts and then had extra time to add further features such as a shield and more.” “Well that sounds like a lot more work than I have done but that’s why you’re the tech guy” Titus replied. “I have also reviewed more of the strategies we have went over thanks to our leader” Draco continued to explain as he gestured towards Titus, “And have met with Professor Xavier to learn more about Magneto and discuss XBOM’s further plans.” “Perfect Draco” Titus explained, “Lay out the plot for us.”

Magneto sat at his desk staring at the news on the plasma beside him. “And the new mutant team of heroes XBOM” Jacklyn Summers explained, “Are now being praised after joining with The Avengers to take on and defeat the horrid monster that threatened many lives. With this recent event, many people are now changing their thoughts on XBOM.” A little girl is seen with Jacklyne holding the microphone up to her. “XBOM is great!” The little girl yelled excitedly. Two teens were then seen with Jacklyne Summers. “Man, XBOM is really cool” One of the teens stated, “They like, have all these powers and abilities and, it’s just awesome.” “Yeah and that Michelle chick is hot!” The other teen suddenly yelled. A man who looked fairly similar to Stan Lee was then seen with Jacklyne Summers. “XBOM is a rocking team that really know how to kick some ass!” The man yelled as he grabbed and shook the camera. Jacklyne Summers then turned back towards the camera and explained, “The discrimination against mutants is changing thanks to theseheroes’ brave act and we expect to see a change in mutant treatment in the near future. Authorities and local citizens are stepping up and unifying fighting for a change for how ‘we citizens’ see mutants. Could this finally be the end of the feud between mutants and humans? We will continue to report and let you know. We thank you all for watching, I’m Jacklyn Summers-Chanel One News.” Magneto’s fist suddenly banged against his metal table, the metal table then split into two. “Mystique” Magneto said to Mystique as he continued to look at the ground, “Get him ready. We move out tonight.” Mystique looked up and asked, “But what of-“ “I gave you an order!” Magneto suddenly yelled, “Now obey it!” Mystique turned angrily toward the door when suddenly it opened and Dr. Lykos walked in. “Magneto” Dr. Lykos said as he entered, “I do hope I’m not interrupting.” “As long as you have the news I am seeking” Magneto replied. “I have tracked her” Dr. Lykos stated, “As promised.” “Good” Magneto replied, “I will send a vehicle over to-“ “She is already here" Dr. Lykos interrupted, “She awaits to hear your plan.” “Splendid” Magneto answered, “She always was one to see reasoning in my plans, unlike her brother.” “Yes…” Dr. Lykos replied, “What would you like me to tell her?” “That I will be there in a minute” Magneto answered, “Thank you Dr. Lykos.” Dr. Lykos nodded and then left the room. “Mystique” Magneto said to Mystique, “It seems our luck has turned. Soon we will have the locations needed, soon he will be all powerful. Now, go, prepare him. It is time humanity is revealed to its dominance, its end, its destruction, its horror. It is time, for the Shadow Titan to rise.”

“Who ate the cake batter flavored ice cream!?” Titus yelled as he opened the freezer and scanned for the container. Titus then closed the freezer and looked up at Kristie, Kristie stood there holding the container of ice cream in her hands. “Uh…I can explain” Kristie replied. “Please do” Titus answered. “Yeah, I got nothing” Kristie explained. “Is there even anything left?” Titus asked as he walked over and took the container out of Kristie’s hands. Titus then looked at the empty container, then turned to Kristie. “I only had three spoonful’s” Kristie stated. “What did you use the ice cream scooper?” Titus asked. Kristie suddenly looked at the ice cream scooper in her hand and then threw it. “Ow!” Cobalt was heard yelling. “No…” Kristie replied. “Uh” Titus groaned as he threw the ice cream container into the garbage. Suddenlythe alarm sounded as BAP slowly dropped down from the ceiling, Professor Xavier then appeared on the four plasmas. “Good afternoon XBOM” Professor Xavier said as he appeared, “We have located Stryker’s new fortress. A local watchtower where we believe he is at. We are sending you to infiltrate it and take it over and bring him back here. Any questions?” “Do you ever get tired of sitting in that chair?” Cobalt asked. “Any questions related to the mission?” Professor Xavier asked. “How exactly do you go to the bathroom?” Kristie asked. “Do you miss walking?” Gabby asked. “Oh boy…” Professor Xavier sighed as he shook his head, “Report to me when you are at the vantage point I have sent you. Good luck XBOM.” Professor Xavier then disappeared from the plasmas and BAP rose back into the ceiling. “Alright XBOM let’s move out” Titus ordered as he put his sunglasses back on. Cobalt then took the sunglasses off of Titus and put them down on the counter. “No, no” Cobalt replied as he put Titus’ sunglasses on the counter, “It’s for the best man.” The team then walked out of the fortress and toward the hanger. “And lose the jacket!” Michelle yelled as the members left, “You look like a moron!”

The members of XBOM boarded their Blackbird in the hanger and Draco and Michelle took the pilot seats. Titus then walked up behind them and put the coordinates in. “Ready XBOM?” Titus asked. “Ready to kick some damn ass” Michelle answered. Draco and Michelle then lifted the Blackbird into the air as the hanger doors opened in front of them. “PUNCH IT!” Titus yelled and The Blackbird took off. (All Along The Watchtower by: Jimi Hendrix) The Blackbird flew through the air as Draco flipped open a small glass container and then hit a red button. An electric spark then covered the Blackbird and the Blackbird then disappeared. Suddenly in a different area a lightning bolt struck across the sky and the Blackbird appeared again. Draco then hit a blue button and the Blackbird turned invisible. “Watchtower located” Draco stated as Michelle and him circled the watchtower. “Looks dead to me” Michelle stated. “Everything looks dead to you Michelle” Titus replied, “Draco, take us down to the vantage point.” Draco and Michelle then brought the Blackbird over to a hill and gently landed it. XBOM then walked off the ship and looked around. “Anyone else hear that howling?” Titus asked. “That would be the wind” Draco explained as he took out a device and held it in his hands, “We are by the shore. Wind here is about thirty-five miles per hour and is increasing.” “Alright so what’s the plan Titus?” Cobalt asked. “Simple” Titus answered, “We get Stryker and bring him back to the school.” “Wow” Michelle replied, “Why didn’t we think of that?” “I did” Gabby stated nodding. “We’ve done it before” Titus explained as he walked forward, “So let’s do it again. Now on me!”

Titus crawled toward the corner of the hill and looked down at the beach in front of the watchtower with multiple guards marching around it. “Seems heavily defended” Titus stated as the rest of XBOM crawled up to Titus and examined below. “There are more than five hundred guards” Draco stated as he examined the area holding advanced binoculars against his eyes. “Where did Magneto even get these guards?” Kristie asked. “I’m unsure” Draco answered, “But these certainly are not the Bots Stryker created that we are used to facing.” “If I recall these are the same guards we have faced when we infiltrated Magneto’s hideout” Titus explained, “They did not seem to possess any mutant ability, why follow Magneto?” “The right questions asked that I do not have the answers to” Draco answered. “Why do you suppose there are so many guards?” Medic asked. “I suppose Stryker knows we are coming” Titus answered. “Man can’t we just walk up to the door and knock?” Cobalt asked, “Those are way too many guards to fight on a Tuesday.” Cobalt then looked at Michelle who was smiling next to Cobalt. “And why are you smiling?” Cobalt asked Michelle. “I’m just counting all of the blood I’m going to be able to spill” Michelle replied. Cobalt shook his head and then looked at Gabby, who was also smiling. “The hell you smiling for Gabby?” Cobalt asked. “I just love smiling” Gabby answered. “She does enjoy smiling” Kristie stated agreeing with Gabby. “Draco” Titus said as he looked at Draco, “Can you give me a head count.” “I would need a minute” Draco answered. “Estimate it dude” Titus replied. “One thousand eight hundred and fifty-five” Draco stated, “Roughly.” “That’s, a big number” Medic stated. “Bigger than the calories Kristie eats in a day” Cobalt said as he chuckled. Kristie then punched Cobalt in the arm. “Ow” Cobalt said as he stopped chuckling and rubbed his arm. “One thousand eight hundred and fifty-four” Draco suddenly stated, “One thousand eight hundred and fifty-three, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two-“ “Draco just pick a number!” Titus replied. “Well it’s hard with Michelle killing them off” Draco answered. “What!?” Titus asked as he grabbed Draco’s binoculars. “Wrong way” Draco said to Titus as Titus tried to use the advanced binoculars, “Turn it, no that way, just flip it-“ “Dude you couldn’t just bring normal ass binoculars?” Titus asked as he looked through the binoculars. Titus then focused in on Michelle as she ran up to a guard and drove one of her ice blades through a guard’s head. Michelle then shot three icicles into another guard, then teleported and stabbed her blade through a guard’s chest as she cut another guards head off. “What are we going to do man?” Cobalt asked Titus. “We’re going to walk up to the door and knock” Titus answered as he handed Draco his binoculars, “Draco, rolling thunder…” Draco suddenly jumped off the cliff and then activated his rage mode as he flew into the air and turned into a massive storm dragon and roared. Each of the guards looked up at Draco and began to fire. Draco then charged a massive bolt of lightning in his mouth and then fired it at the ground striking the beach causing a massive explosion that knocked multiple guards to the ground. Draco then flew toward the ground and transformed into a massive gargoyle type dragon as he entered his outrage mode. Draco then smashed onto the beach and rolled forward and then grabbed a guard and threw him against the ground. Draco then ran forward and smashed two guards together, then ran and grabbed another guard.

(Run To The Hills by: Iron Maiden) “Alright guys I want clean kills with a side of badassness ok?” Titus said to XBOM. “That even a word?” Cobalt asked as he looked at Kristie. Kristie shrugged her shoulders as Cobalt looked at her. “Let’s have some fun!” Titus finished saying as the rest of XBOM prepared to join the fight.Titus then led the others as each member got up and started to slide down the massive hill. Medic jumped off the hill and opened her spear and held it against the hill as she slid down. Titus slid down holding his metal arm against the hill and Cobalt jumped and slid down the hill next to Titus. The three then landed on the beach where suddenly Kristie activated her rage mode and flew forward with her vampiric wings and fired a massive laser at multiple guards. Gabby then flew downward and then started to fire beams at multiple guards as well. “This is not what I had in mind for a beach day” Medic stated. “This is exactly what I had in mind” Titus replied. Titus then ran forward and stabbed two guards with his daggers and then smashed the guards against the beach ground. Medic ran forward and sliced three guards down and then stabbed her spear through a guard’s gut. “XBOM Attack!” Titus yelled. Kristie then flew over Titus and formed a massive black spark and then dropped it onto the beach below and exploded it causing multiple guards to be knocked to the ground. Draco charged forward and then held his hands out and fired electricity from his claws that electrified ten guards to the ground. Draco then bit down onto a guard and threw him, then grabbed a guard by the head and held him up and then electrified the guard in his hand. Draco then threw the guard to the ground and then roared. Cobalt formed four portals around him that spread out across the beach and held his sword like a launcher. “Hello!” Cobalt yelled as he fired a yellow beam through a portal hitting two guards. Cobalt then turned and fired a beam through another portal and yelled, “Catch!” Cobalt then turned to another portal and fired a beam and yelled, “Surprise!” Cobalt then flipped his blade over his shoulder and quickly fired another beam hitting a guard that approached the portal. “Nice try man” Cobalt stated with a smirk. Michelle sliced two guards in half with her blades and then ran forward and activated her rage mode. Michelle then jumped forward and landed on an ice pillar that then started to rise into the air. The guards fired at Michellebut their bullets bounced off Michelle’s diamond skin. Michelle then lifted her hands and multiple icicles rose behind her. Michelle then pointed her hands forward and the icicles began to storm down wreaking havoc as they struck down multiple guards. Gabby flew past Michelle’s ice pillar dodging the icicles that fell from above and fired more beams at guards as Kristie flew by and picked up two guards and then threw them to the ground and then fired another massive laser out of her eyepiece. Medic struck her spear forward and sliced down five guards and then turned to Titus and yelled, “Can we hurry this up!?” “You got it!” Titus replied as he activated his rage mode and stated in a demonic voice, “Everyone off the sand!” Draco flew into the sky and Gabby and Kristie quickly grabbed Medic and Cobalt and then flew into the sky as well. The guards fired at Titus as Titus walked toward the middle of the beach. Titus then walked forward as his shirt began to slowly disintegrate off his body revealing his red veins. The guards continued firing at Titus-their bullets entering Titus’ skin just for Titus’ wounds to heal instantly as he continued to walk forward. Titus then took his metal arm and yelled as he smashed it against the ground forcing a massive sand cloud to rise. The sand beneath the guards then swallowed all the remaining guards whole instantly. Titus then slowly stood up as he deactivated his rage mode and turned back into his original form as the cloud of sand disappeared.
