WTOP TO DEBUT NEW WEEKLY COLUMN BY VETERAN JOURNALIST MIKE CAUSEY

“Mike’s Take” Will Cover a Variety of Entertaining Topics Examining Daily Life & Current Events

Washington, D.C. – WTOP Radio 103.5 FM announced today that it will debut a new weekly column on WTOP.com by Senior Correspondent Mike Causey. The column, “Mike’s Take,” will debut on August 31, 2011 and will appear every Wednesday on WTOP.com. From breaking news stories, entertainment news and cultural observations, “Mike’s Take” will cover a variety of topics from week-to-week providing humorous insight on daily life and current events. Causey will add an element of entertainment and humor to the leading news website by addressing any subject matter from his unique perspective.

Causey is currently the Senior Federal Correspondent at WTOP sister station Federal News Radio 1500 AM where he writes a daily federal report column. Causey is also a regular contributor of federal news and information on WTOP Radio. Before joining Federal News Radio and WTOP, Causey served more than 30 years at The Washington Post, where he covered an array of local topics and news.
