UUCC PIE SALE
8:30 A.M. UNTIL PIES ARE GONE, AT LONGFELLOW’S GREENHOUSES IN MANCHESTER.PIES WANTED, THIRTY-ONE ALREADY PROMISED.Can you make your special pie(s) or donate a Slate’s or Lakeside Orchards pie or a talented friend’s pie to help the church at this event? A sign-up sheet for pie contribution is on the bulletin board. Pies can be any kind that does not require refrigeration. Berry and cherry are very popular. Apple, pecan, pumpkin and mince always sell well.We will receive the pies at the Harvest Dinner on Friday evening, November 21 to transport to Longfellow’s at 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning. DONATIONS DUE Friday, November 28th between 1 and 6 p.m., when we will set up and price for the sale. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board for volunteering time, or preparing finger food. If you would like to help with the Café, please contact Betty Cairn at or 445-2942.
Please bring new treasures suitable for holiday giving. You may place them in the church cloak room marked for Hannah’s Boutique, or give them to Hannah Faulkner at church on Sundays, November 16 or 23.

A CLASS IN RUBBER STAMPING CARDS(no this does not mean agreeing with everything said on a card). Do you have a desire to create your own holiday cards?For years, Charlene Cleven has been creating lovely cards through the use of rubber stamping, beautiful paper, colorful inks and embossing inks. She has offered to guide those of you who may be interested in creating your own holiday cards with HER materials.
She will hold a scheduled class at her own home, so as not to have to transport ALL of her materials. If you are interested, please contact Cheryl Clukey 441-0337 or Charlene Cleven, 622-5607. Class date/time TBA based on interest.
SAINT MARK’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH COMMUNITY DINNERS.
UUCC has made a decision to lead 3 additional suppers for a total of 6 for 2014 -2015. On the 1st Saturday in Nov.1, we will prepare and serve. The other months will be determined soon. Donations from Share-the-Plate in Nov., Jan, and April will help fund the additional suppers. If you can contribute in anyway, Please give me a call. 480-0980. Thankyou.
