Student Interest Form

This form is to be completed by students interested in a Work Experience Placement at the Department of Human Services. Please complete all fields and email completed form to . Please note that we cannot guarantee availability of a suitable placement.

We ask that you please provide the Entry Level Projects (ELP) team with sufficient notice to source your placement. We require a minimum of three weeks’ notice.

Work experience placements are not available in December, January or February.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Department of Human Services’ Work Experience Placement you must:

be an Australian Citizen
be currently studying in Year 10, Year 11 or Year 12 (or equivalent) in an Australian Education Institution
successfully complete an Entry Level Check if over 18 years of age; and
be covered by appropriate insurance by your school/institution for the duration of your placement and provide paperwork to verify this.
