  • Parent Points – F. Guerrant brought up the issue with lice at school and that many parents don’t know what the policy/protocol is pertaining to this issue. The issue needs to be addressed as kids are “catching” lice more than twice in a nine week period. • Clarification for Lockdown:
  • Students should not be in the line of sight when the door is open. Some students were near lockers by door and when the door was opened, students were in clear view. There needs to be a barrier between students and the door opening. This may mean a new place for students if the present location puts them directly n line sight of the person opening the door.
  • There was a miscommunication between school administrators, SROs, and CO administrators with the expectation of procedures for after having rooms checked. At this point, students should NOT be in the hallways until teachers hear an announcement or receive a Remind 101 from Bates or Erwin.
