REHEARSALS
It is very important that your child attend all rehearsals scheduled for the semester. There are only 11 rehearsals before the concert. We need to move quickly and missing just one rehearsal will put your child at a disadvantage to succeed.
DRESS REHEARSAL
We have one mandatory dress rehearsal, on Tuesday Dec. 2 from 3:30 until 5:00. We will be rehearsing at Highlands High Schools’ Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Children are responsible for finding their own transportation to and from HHS.
It is very important that everyone attend this rehearsal. This is the only rehearsal in which all three school’s groups will be singing together, in preparation for the concert. This is also where we have our guest musicians and accompanist come and rehearse with our group.

CONCERTS
We have two mandatory concerts this semester. We will be performing at Highlands High School’s PAC. The concert on Dec. 2 is featuring the Fort Thomas Children’s Choir. The concert on Dec. 14th is the Highlands High School choir concert and we are performing a song on their concert, with the HS choir. Please plan on staying for at least the half of the concert that our song is performed. More information to come on the exact time to arrive and depart.
UNIFORM
For the two concerts this semester, every child is to wear khaki pants, FTCC shirt (provided), shirt tucked into pants, black belt, and black dress shoes. Please have hair pulled back away from face. Hair accessories, if necessary should be black, navy blue or tan. No large accessories or flashy items to be worn. Anyone not adhering to the dress code will not be permitted to perform.

PARTIES
After the December 2nd concert, a pizza party is held at each child’s home school, during their next regularly scheduled chorus rehearsal. The time is shortened to 35 minutes, so please plan on picking up your child at the proper time on the schedule above.
I would love to have as many adults assist with the party. It helps the party to run smoothly. Please contact me if you can assist with the party.
I will supply the pizza, napkins, cups, plates. I do need assistance with supplemental supplies. The day of the party, could you please bring one item for the party:
5th grade – a 2-litre of drink
4th grade – Ooey/gooey dessert (i.e. cookies, brownies, etc)
3rd grade – crunch/salty (i.e. chips, prtezels, popcorn, etc)
(Note: please do not bring anything with nuts.)
