The next Women’s Ministries retreat will take place during the weekend 4th – 6thApril 2014 at Nicholaston House, Penmaen, Gower, Swansea SA3 2HL. The title for the weekend will be,
‘Body, Mind & Spirit’
and the cost is £128 per person sharing a room and £148 for a single room(see Application Form for details of subsidies).Cheques should be made payable to, ‘Welsh Mission’ and posted to:

We are delighted and honoured that Sharon Platt-McDonald, Director for Women’s Ministries, Health and Disability Awareness for the British Union Conference, has agreed to be our main speaker for the weekend.

Closing date for receipt of applications: 20th March 2014. May I request, however, that you submit your application forms as soon as possible and please try not to leave things until the last minute as this has a negative knock on effect with my communication with the venue organisers.
You are welcome to arrive from 4.30 p.m. onwards and the evening meal will be served at approximately 6.30 p.m. On Friday evening we will have our usual anonymous gift giving time so please (and this is not compulsory) bring a small gift to the value of no more than £6.00 and link it to an appropriate Bible verse which should be written on a card to go with the gift. We plan to walk to the beach on Sabbath afternoon (weather permitting) so please bring sensible clothing/shoes. Alternativearrangements will be made for those ladies choosing not to participate in the walk. Finally, remember to bring your Bible and extra cash as there will be some interesting items for sale.

Note: For those ladies who are unable to pay the full cost, the Welsh Mission isable to offer a subsidy of up to £20 per person for this retreat.
