INTRODUCTION

Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club Ltd would like to welcome you to join their Scenic CarTour

running on Sunday 22nd September 2013.

Our event aims to raise funds for Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre,the clubs nominated charity, whilst

giving the motoringenthusiast the opportunity to participate in a gentle run along some of the best and

scenic classic roadsinSouth Staffordshire and Shropshire around and about the Severn Valley.

Entrants will be issued with a detailed road book defining the route which will be approximately 100

miles long. The event will start from the Wolverhampton Airport, Halfpenny Green, Bobbington,

Nr Wolverhamptonand finish at the Hollybush Inn, Ebstree, Trysull, Wolverhampton.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

‘Held under the General Regulations, of the Motor Sports Association (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA) and these Supplementary Regulations.’

  1. Announcement. Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club will organise a Scenic Car

Touron Sunday 22nd September 2013. The route willstart from The Wolverhampton Airport,

HalfpennyGreen, Bobbington DY7 5DY, and finish at The Hollybush Inn, Ebstree, Trysull WV5 7JE.

2.Regulations. The meeting will be held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports

Association (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA) insofar as

they apply to Touring Assemblies, these Supplementary Regulations and any written instructions

that the organising club may issue for this event. A Certificate of Exemption (number TBA) will be

obtained from the Motor Sports Association and displayed at the start.

3. Officials. The secretary of the meeting isNeil Abel, who may be contacted with any queries

at The Orchard, Upper Ludstone, Claverley, Nr Wolverhampton, WV5 7DH. 07956 041388.

4. Vehicle eligibility. The event is open to vehicles of an interesting nature, subject to approval

from the organisers.

5. Entering the Event.

Entries are open to members of Wolverhampton and South Staffs Car Club Ltd, invited local clubs and

the public, upon the publication of these regulations and closeon Monday 16th September 2013.

The maximum entry will be50 cars, the minimum will be 25. The entry fee is £40.00 per car,

WSSCC members £35.00. Additional passengers can take part at an additional cost of £15 per person.

There will be a breakfast bap and hot drink at the start at Wolverhampton Airport, Halfpenny Green

for two people. In addition there will be a Hog Roast at the finish.

Cheques should be made payable to WSSCC Ltd and sentalong with a completed and signed entry

form to: Neil Abel. The Orchard, Upper Ludstone, Claverley, Nr Wolverhampton, WV5 7DH

6. Final Instructions. Final instructions will be issued one week before the event.

  1. Registration. On the Day Registration is from 9:00am until 10:00am with cars leaving

from 10.ooam onwards. Scrutineering is limited to ensuring the vehicle is eligible for use on the public

highway, and displays a current tax disc. All cars must be insured for the public highway.

All crew members must ‘Sign On’.

  1. Route. The total distance covered will be approximately 100 miles (a route book will be issued

at signing on, detailing all the route instructions you will need for the day in the form of Tulip style

navigational diagrams at specified mileages and also written instructions).

The lunch halt will be at the pay & display carpark, High Town, Bridgnorth.A minimumof one

hour will be allowed for entrants to take in the sights of this beautiful Shropshire town.

Filling station locations will be included. No Maps are necessary, however the entire route is contained

on O/S maps 127 and 138.

  1. Driving Standards. Horses, cyclists and walkers can be expected at many places along

the route. Do please give them the greatest consideration.
