The annual Wiltshire Cricket Presentation evening took place at the Ceres Hall, Devizes, on Friday 6th September. The presentation evening is an annual event which marks the end of the season and is a highlight of the year as it marks the opportunity to recognise not only the outstanding cricketing performances of Wiltshire's junior players but also the outstanding contributions that have been given to cricket in a wider context.

The evening involved presentations being given for individual performance awards within county fixtures and for the first time, medals and trophies were presented to players from the winning district teams during the summer. Interspersed between these awards were presentations of the annual Wiltshire Cricket OSCAs. The OSCAs stand for Oustanding Services to Cricket Awards and recognise volunteers that the game of Cricket simply couldn't do without. There are seven OSCAs categories and the winners across each of these categories were announced on the evening. Each of these winners will now be invited to represent Wiltshire at the national OSCAs at Lords on Monday 30th September.

As well as the OSCA presentations, there was also recognition for volunteers through the presentation of Clubmark accreditation and reaccreditation certificates. Clubmark is an accreditation that recognises clubs that run safe, effectve and child friendly junior sections and involves a lot of time and commitment behind given by club volunteers.

Finally, the presentation evening saw the awards for county age group players of the year being given out before the evening concluded with the announcement of the Wiltshire Cricketer of the year.

Supporting the evening was Wiltshire CCC Team Manager, Neil Shardlow, who presented all of the awards to the worthy winners.
