REGULATIONS
This Show is now conducting all its saddle classes as unofficial so horses and riders DO NOT NEED to be EFA registered. Only some of the jumping classes are official (see Official jumping Section) on page 7.
Penalties may be imposed on anyone found not observing these conditions.
1Judges: on arrival, shall proceed to announcer's box. They will go then to their allotted ring accompanied by their steward for judging classes. When finished, they shall sign and give in their reports, and their awards shall be final unless a valid objection is raised against the prize taker's right to compete in their respective classes.
2Eligibility: In the event of the judge or chief steward considering that any of the exhibits do not comply with the society's conditions, the same may be disqualified.
3Awards: No prize will be awarded to an unworthy exhibit.
4Protests: Must be lodged in writing to the chief steward within one hour of the incident leading to the protest. They may only be lodged by an exhibitor in the same class as the one in which the protest was made. Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of $50, the deposit to be forfeited to the society should the protest deemed frivolous. Any dispute as to the interpretation of the rules, by-laws, regulations or provisions shall be determined by the executive committee, whose decision shall be final.
5Liability: The society will not be held responsible for any accident however caused to any exhibit, owner, rider, or his/her property whatsoever. All entrants must sign the Waiver form on the back of the entry form.
6Parade: All placegetters in the saddle classes are requested to parade and the Champions to lead it..
7Safety Regulations: All riders shall wear approved protective headgear when mounted anywhere on the ground. Exhibitors are responsible for their animals wellbeing and horses must be safely secured while at the ground.
8Alterations: The committee reserve the right to:- Delete, add to, or alter the programme, or order of the events, and to refuse any entry with or without giving the reason.
9Stallions: Are not eligible for any saddle or riding classes.
10Definition of a Novice: All horses/riders which have won three novice or one open saddle/rider class competing singly at a show or gymkhana, with the exception of a consolation class, are not considered to be novice.
11 Championships: Open to winners only in each section. Second placegetters to stand by for reserve.
12Drugs: The EFA rules regarding forbidden substances apply to all competitors and horses. Random Drug tests may be conducted at this show.
13 Membership : of the society is $20 per annum. This entitles entry to the show ground for two adults, two children and a vehicle.
14Admission: Competitors will all be charged admission at the gate, therefore they are advised to obtain membership tickets.

SADDLE SECTION
All Saddle classes areunofficial – horses do not have to be registered.

Judging will start in the one ring at 8.30 a.m. sharp. They will follow in the order printed below except that classes 25, 26 & 27 may be held sometime and some where else.
While every effort will be made to accomodate competitors, no class can be held up, and no responsibility will be accepted for classes that clash.
SADDLE HACKS
All hacks to be over 15.0hh

26Leading Rein Rider for rider under 8 yrs old not eligible for any other class exc. class 25.
27Deloraine & Districts Pony Club Rider. For members of the DDPC who have never won this event. 1st & 2nd prizes donated by parents & members of the DDPC.

RING 1 – GRADED and NON-GRADED JUMPING

The show is affiliated with the EFA for the conduct of these jumping classes. To take part in graded events riders must be members of the EFA and horses registered and hold a current performance card. To compete in graded events riders are required to be in their 12th year or older. Unregistered and riders may compete I classes 41, 42a and 47 only.
Deloraine Show is proud to take part in the "Ballymore Stables Showjumping Point Series" sponsored by Michael Morris' Ballymore Stables Equine Veterinary Clinic, Longford. This show counts for the TSJA Show Jumper of the Year awards.
The Joseph Rogers Memorial Perpetual Trophy, presented by the family of the late Mr J. Rogers. Is awarded to the highest points winner on a 6, 4, 2, 1, basis
Prizes may not be paid unless proof of registration and validation can be verified.
Prizes include four Magnums of wine valued at $20 each, donated by Deloraine Hotel
Horses may not compete in more than three show jumping classes.
Horses competing in this section may NOT compete in Ring 2.

RING 2 – UNOFFICIAL JUMPING SECTION

Horses need not be EFA registered, nor need the riders be EFA members.
Eligibility Horsescompeting in this section may NOT compete in Ring 1. Horses of any grade may compete in any classes providing they do not compete in more than three classes in total.
Courses will be about stated height for the first round. They may be enlarged for any jump-offs.
Speed 325 mpm unless otherwise stated.
All events will be run under Article 238.1.2 (old AM3) unless specified otherwise.
Entry Fee : $4 unless otherwise stated. Ribbons to 4th place.

52 TERRY ROLES RACING STABLES 70cms JUMP.
Prizes – 1st $15, 2nd $10, 3rd $5, of which $20 donated by Racehorse Trainer Terry Roles.
This class will incorporate the DELORAINE DISTRICT PONY CLUB JUMP for members of the DDPC riding in their club uniform who have never won this event. Prizes – 1st donated by Life Member Sandra Atkins, 2nd donated by Life Member Elizabeth Ranicar, 3rd donated by Life Member Pat Richards. DDPC Riders entering this class must nominate their eligibility on the entry form.
