Why Kevin Has A New Job

White cotton candy clouds dot an azure winter sky, Agatha, the angel, frustratedly teaches archery. Not her best skill, but willing to fill in for retiring William Tell. William retires to eat apples, rather than teaching others to shoot them. Bow stings fly through the air. Broken arrows litter the clouds and not a single mark being hit.

Up in heaven, the angels were having a hard time teaching archery. Junior cherubs playing leap frog from cloud to cloud, create dancing clouds around the sky. At the archery area beginner cherubs break more arrows.

Agatha, in charge of teaching the new recruits in the art of agape rather than the art of a bow and arrow, races after the cherubs to catch them causing pieces of clouds, broken arrows and other debris to float down to earth as fluffy snow flakes. Archangel Raphael approaches the archery area to discuss the likelihood of a new teacher being found to allow Agatha to go back to her old job of teaching. They went to God to arrange for a new instructor, who was patient, kind, considerate and most of all knew how to teach the art of using a bow and arrow.

With the angels in discussions, old man winter exhales gusts of wind, creating extreme winter wind chills, as a light cesna plane circles the snow covered sandhills looking for mule deer to count. Unable to warm up the cesna engine shivers and goes quiet. The plane races to the ground.

Three of the four angels out on a stroll across Heaven rush to the crash site and escort the passengers to the gates of Heaven, while the forth angel carries the message to the authorities. Guardian angels race to their protégés, realizing too late that fate had changed the lives of many people.

God said, "I know one of the best. He has just arrived."

God called Kevin Misfeldt to come to a gathering of the angels in charge of the archery area.

The angels all agreed. Kevin's patience and ability to teach, would insure that the new cherubs and cupids would have the best instructor to teach them the joy of using a bow and arrow to hit their mark.

Next time you feel the arrow of love, for flower, sunset, pet animal or mankind, pierce your heart, you will now know why there is so much more love in your life.

Just wait and see if what I say is true!

I love you, Kevin.

Good luck in the new job!
