The correct date and time for this performance is June 17 at 11 a.m. It was originally scheduled for and listed in the brochure for June 25, which is now incorrect.

HOUSTON—There’s something for everyone on stage at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park. From daytime programs especially for young children to family friendly evening performances of music, dance, theatre and more, this is Houston’s best entertainment value. Admission is FREE! For a complete schedule, visit

Free tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis (four per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30 a.m.―1 p.m. for assigned seating under the canopy. If tickets remain at 1 p.m., the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.

Under normal circumstances, all unoccupied/unclaimed seats are released five minutes before the show is scheduled to begin. We encourage all patrons to be in their assigned seats at least 10 minutes before showtime to insure that their seat is not released. Again, there is NO charge for tickets. Tickets may not be reserved by phone.Only four (4)tickets per person. At managements’ discretion, all unoccupied seats may be released at any time for any reason.

This year's outstanding lineup features "Zydeco Sweetheart" Rosie Ledet, 2012 Big Squeeze Champ Peter Anzaldua, the 2013 Big Squeeze statewide contest finalists and other accordion all-stars, so arrive early and come ready to dance!

Children’s Performance: Swing, Jive and Pop! Into Dance
June 5, 11 a.m.
Houston Metropolitan Dance Company's “Swing, Jive and Pop into Dance” incorporates history, fashion, music and the arts into an interactive blast of excitement. The company dances through the eras of the 1930’s Lindy Hop, bops into the 1950’s, grooves into the 1970’s and ends into the Hip Hop music of today. Students, teachers and audience members have the opportunity to converse with the dancers and participate in an energy filled hour of dance while learning fun historical tidbits of information.

Sizzling Summer Dance

Houston Metropolitan Dance closes its 17th season at Miller with a concert that has something for everyone - a collection of repertoire pieces from classic to avant garde, focusing on the diversity and versatility that is the signature of the Houston Met and mirrors the Miller audience itself. Experience an evening of dance exploding with movement, music and energy for all to enjoy.

TUTS Humphreys School returns to Miller with their production ofDisney Channel’s smash hit movie!It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations, and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock Troy discovers that the girl he met on his ski trip, Gabriella, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical.
