The Guardian SSC-433CX Quickstart Guide
Package Includes

Important Notes
- The Guardian requires power. Power can be in the form of 4 AA batteries internally or plugging into the wall with the included AC power supply for 24/7 operation.
- Turn the unit on or off using the switch on the side
- You must connect the Guardian to your TV’s input jack (typically a small round yellow jack) to access and control the menu and settings. You will have to set your TV to accept an auxiliary input. This is normally done with the TV remote by pressing Input/Video/Game or some button like it. You may have to refer to your owner’s manual for how to accept an auxiliary input.
- Once you have the Guardian connected to your TV’s input, the TV on the right settings, and the Guardian powered, you will see the Guardian’s picture camera. If you do not have a picture, then recheck that power is supplied, it is connected to the right jack on your TV, your TV is on the right settings and the Guardian is also turned on.

- Raise or lower the threshold.
- Note: The lower (farther to the left) the threshold the MORE sensitive the motion detection recording. This means that the threshold is lower and it will take less motion to trigger it.
