Why should people attend?

The conference is truly national and only occurs every second year. It is a chance to meet and network with people in similar positions across Australia and share and learn with colleagues. We have some amazing people working on our national day from all corners of Australia – with budgets ranging from $200 to $200,000 and beyond.

The purpose of Australia Day and Community Events is quite unique: to provide safe, family-friendly experiences and build community and national spirit through celebration and participation.

This conference is aimed specifically at Community event organisers, taking in to consideration the unique challenges that we face and the environment in which we operate. We’ve sourced experts and leaders to speak on topics relevant to our particular niche of the events industry whilst balancing this with broader Australia Day, events and professional development topics.

Come along and be inspired!
