When will member accounts be established and security decals issued?

Member accounts will be established after you close on your property. A membership packet will be provided that includes necessary forms for decals, a copy of the community rules and regulations, and a member profile. It is important these are returned to us so we can update our database as soon as possible. Member accounts can be used in Fitness Central, Backwater Bill’s and the Tackle Box for purchases. When do I start paying HamptonLake dues and what do they include?

You will begin paying dues after closing on your property. As an added benefit, you may activate your membership prior to closing by signing and returning the appropriate membership activation form. HamptonLake dues will provide members access to all Lakesideamenities. The dues for 2011 are$2,956.25.

What is the guest policy for the HamptonLake amenities?

Guests of members are welcome to use the facilities at HamptonLake when accompanied by a member.There is a daily guest fee at Fitness Central beyond the free guest passes issued to each member. There is no charge for accompanied guest’s use of the pool, beach, volleyball court, basketball court, Mother Nature’s, or non-motorized boating activities. Members must call security at 836-7490 for guest passes. Members wishing to bring 3 or more families to the pool facility, at one time, must be approved by our Director of Fun, CatherineGuscio. When will the Lakehouse & Backwater Bills be open, and what are the hours of operation?

The Tower Bar & Backwater Bill’s is open and will be serving lunch Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30 am-2:30 pm. Backwater Bill’s will be serving dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-8pm. The hours for both facilities will be adjusted based on membership use. While Backwater Bill’s will be the main attraction of the Lakehouse, there are two other components—the banquet room and the back porch—that are available for member or member-sponsored activities.

May members hold private functions at Lakeside?

What are the hours of operation and guest policy for the Cool Pool (adult pool) & Adventure Lagoon (pool area) and Sandi Point (beach)?

During the summer season, the pool area is open 7am-9pm. During the winter season the pool area is open 8am-6pm. The beach is open from 7am-11pm throughout the year. Members wishing to bring more than two families to the pool facility, at one time, must be approved by our Director of Fun, Catherine Guscio. Catherine can be reached at 836-7463.

Are there any age restrictions for the Lakeside pools?

Yes. The Cool Pool (adult pool) located at the far end of the pool complex is limited to adults 21 years and older. This pool area is also designated as a quiet area and electronic devices used in this area must be accompanied by headphones. Adventure Lagoon (main pool) is open to adults and children of all ages.

Am I allowed to bring coolers with food and drinks to the pool and beach?

Coolers are permitted at the pool and beach but are restricted to soft-sided (no hard shell or coolers on wheels), and may contain only food and beverage when Backwater Bill’s and the Tower Bar are closed. Soft-side coolers may be used at anytime for food and drinks for infants or children under the age of 5. Only alcohol purchased from Backwater Bill’s or the Tower Bar is permitted at the pools.

Where are the first aid kits located in the Lakeside area?

First aid kits are located at the pool restroom, the main Lakehouse meeting room service closet, Tackle Box,the Outpost and on each boat at Doc’s Boathouse.

May members use the fire pits located on the beach?

The fire pits are available for use on the beach and at the Outpost during operational hours, 7am-11pm. At certain times such as extreme drought conditions use of fire pits may be limited. Please contact the Tower Bar or Boathouse staff for instructions prior to use of any firepit.

What are the hours of operation for Fitness Central and The Spa?

The fitness facility is open Monday and Wednesday 6am-7pm, Friday 6am-5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 1pm-5pm.

How do I schedule a spa treatment or other individual fitness sessions?

For spa treatments (massages, facials, manicures, pedicures), fitness evaluations, pilates classes and personal training contact the Spa and Fitness Central at 836-7470.

What are the hours of operation for Tackle Box?

Winter hours for the Tackle Box: Tuesday-Saturday9am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm (closed Monday). To reserve a boat usage, please call836-7458.

How do I rent a boat and how much does it cost?

Boats can be rented at the Tackle Box during operational hours. To reserve a boat or kayak, call Doc’s Boathouse at 836-7458. Inclement weather may preclude rental of boats. Member pricing for rentals:

Are member’s privately owned boats allowed at HamptonLake?

Member’s privately owned boats can be used at HamptonLake. Member boats must not exceed 22’ feet in length or have four-stroke engines greater than 25 horsepower. Required registration and recommended guidelines can be obtained at Fish Tales through Chris Collier, Member Services Director, 836-7462. Member boats can be launched at the Lakeside Launch located across from Fitness Central. We ask all boaters to observe the lake-wide no wake speed.

May members fish at Doc’s Boathouse?

Fishing is allowed at Doc’s Boathouse. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult; life jackets for children are available at the Tackle Box. Shoes are required for all participants.

When is the Outpost available and what are the associated fees?

The Outpost siteincludesrestrooms, showers, cookout facility, fire pit, and four tent sites. Access to the Outpost is by boat or by trail system. Unless reserved, use of the Outpost is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Outpost amenities can be reserved by contacting the Tackle Box at 836-7458. Fees for Outpost are as follows:

What types of outdoor recreation are available at HamptonLake?

Outdoor recreation includes tennis, basketball, fishing, boat tours, kayak tours, naturalist walking tour, and guided fishing tours. Non-guided hiking tours along 7+ miles of walking trails are available. For more information please contact Tackle Box at 836-7458.
