a)Great workshop – instructors/presenters did a great job! I recommend you cover definitions up front, though, and make a distinction between gender identity and sexual orientation because the straight people were confused. Just sayin! ( smiley face ).

Would love a little more meat to the presentation – perhaps history of community; more stories of how no intervention has negative effect and hoiw good intervention has positive effects; more detailed strategies for change and advocacy. Thank you for your work!

Wendy Durst, Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Seneca Family of Agencies

50 people in the audience, General Tone: Very engaged, good exchange, lots of questions

Comments:

a)I hope that this program is extended to LA Unified, Hawthorne, Compton, Inglewood. These districts need this program to give our children more academic help.

b)Excellent presentation. Questions were answered carefully and thoughtfully.

c)Presentation was derailed by answering participants questions rather than getting through the presentation.

d)Would have loved to have copy of the excellent ppt.

e)Wish more handouts of the visual. Great info – two sessions next time, part 1 & 2.

f)I’m very interested in this topic. Unfortunately, the presentation was not completed due to multiple questions. Though I think responding to attendee’s questions and comments I wish the full presentation could have been completed.

g)Questions were entertained early and seemed to interrupt the presentation. Not sure prdesenters got to provide the information they intended to. I thought they would cover a tiered system in school for trauma intervention.

h)Don’t answer questions until you are done with your presentation – there were good questions BUT they did not go through their information – feel like I missed a lot of information ( frowning face ).
