What is PTA? Why should I join?
The mission of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
The two main purposes of Permenter PTA are:
· To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship
· To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
By joining PTA you are committing to supporting your child, his/her education, and our school. You are not committing to volunteer or attend any events (although both are encouraged!) You are joining forces with other parents at Permenter to ensure your child receives the best education possible and a voice in our school. We are all in this together and it takes us working as a team to ensure the success of our children.
What’s in it for YOU? When you become a PTA member, you get access to training and resources from Texas PTA. You also receive discounts to places of business such as T-Mobile, Sea World, Great Wolf Lodge, La Quinta, Nationwide, Enterprise, Dell, Schlitterbahn Waterparks, and Six Flags.

PTA Membership Drive Contest
The classroom with the highest PTA membership will receive a pass for a designated jean day! As well as every class that reaches 100% membership! Anyone can join! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors. Each membership is only $7.50. Membership bundle that includes the t-shirt is $15. (Members with more than one student at Permenter will count toward the class goal of each student.) Deadline for memberships to count toward the jean day Friday, October 24th! Get yours in now before you forget!
