What happens after the Let’s Get Healthy! fair and how might you use the information to help the students improve their health using data collected at the Let’s Get Healthy! fair?

  1. Commission on Children and Families - Try to establish a partnership with you local Commission on Children and Families. Both school personnel and the county Commission on Children and Families are concerned about improving the health of the school aged students in your school. The school and commission might work together to evoke change in your school community. This may be additional program support, resource materials, or co-sponsored funding opportunities. A list of local Commissions on Children and Families is attached.
  1. Community Benefits Program – Contact your local hospital to inquire about a Community Benefits Program. Community Benefits program are “designed to, among other things, promote health and healing to identified community needs.” Schools may benefit from contacting the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems at 4000 Kruse Way Place, Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035. 503-636-8310
