Westlock Rock 2015 Fundraising Campaign

Dear Parents,

Welcome to a fantastic new season of Lacrosse!

As with most organizations, Westlock Lacrosse Association dependson successful fundraisers to help keep our registration costs down and make playing lacrosse an affordable option for families. For the 2015 season, each player has a minimum $75.00 fundraising commitment to the organization, however, the more product sold, the better for the Association. Families with more than 2 players will only be required to fundraise for 2 players.

This year we have decided to try something new and are excited to be selling beef jerky from Big Chief Meat Snacks based out of Calgary.

The guideline for obtaining our fundraising goal is for each player to sell (2) complete boxes @ $40 each and (2) boxes of individual sticks for $48/box.

The official start date is April 27th and the official completion date is June 5th.Deirdre McCormick will be at the Spirit Centre Monday, April 27thand Tuesday April 28thfrom5:30pm – 8:00pm, in order for you to pick-up your boxes. When picking up your product, you will be required to submit a post dated cheque in the amount of $176.00/player (cost of product + profit).

You will be provided with an initial 4 boxes of jerky and should you require more product to sell, you can contact Deirdre at 780-350-8073 or .

Buy-Out Option

For those of you not wanting to participate in the beef jerky fundraiser, you can elect to “buy-out” your fundraising commitment by providing a post dated cheque, dated June 5th,or cash payment in the amount of $75.00 and submit to your team manager by April 14th. If cheques are not received by the “buy-out” deadline, it will be assumed that you are participating in the fundraiser, product will be ordered for you and you will be expected to pick up and sell.
