*Please note that the determination to fund a program and the amount of such funding, if any, rests exclusively with the Field of Dreams Committee. Not all grant applications, regardless of merit, can be funded.

Deadline for Grant Application is September 15, 2010 for fall grants. Grants will be awarded by October 1, 2010. January 15, 2011 is the deadline for spring grants. Grants will be awarded by February 1, 2011.

Purpose: The Westfall Elementary Field of Dreams Fund is to support enrichment experiences for students, parents, staff and other community members of WestfallElementary School.

Guidelines:

  1. This grant provides seed money for new projects, not to supplant operating expenses and therefore will not be considered for more than two years.
  2. Individual grants will not exceed $500, however, larger amounts may be considered for cooperative projects that benefit larger sectors of the educational community.
  3. Partial funding of a project may also be awarded at the discretion of the Field of Dreams Committee.
  4. All monies awarded must be expended within oneyear from the time of the award.
  5. Recipients will send a final report on the outcome of funded

project to the Field of Dream Committee within three

months of the end of the grant period. This report must

include documentation of expenditures.

6. Pictures: It is the responsibility of the grant recipient to check if

students’ pictures can be taken. A copy of all pictures taken must

be given to the Field of Dreams Committee. The pictures may be

used for promotional purposes.

  1. Obtain approval from the Field of Dreams Grant Committee for any changes in expenditures.
  2. Refund any used funds to the Field of Dreams Fund which is managed by the Westfall Educational Foundation.
  3. Send completed evaluation and financial report to the Field of Dreams Committee no later than six months after receipt of the grant.
  4. Identify the Westfall Elementary’s Field of Dream Fund as the funding source in any publications.
