Dear Parents/Carer,

Spring Concert Performances

Monday 7thMarch at 7pm

Tuesday 8th March at 1.45pm + 7pm

Wednesday 9th March at 1.45pm + 7pm

You are invited to attend our annual Spring Concert performances onMonday 7th, Tuesday 8th & Wednesday 9th March.

Due to the ever increasing number of children participating in extra-curricular music activities we have split our performances into Ensemblesand Instrumental concerts. Please see the table below for more details:

Performances / 1.45pm / 7pm
Mon.7th March / NO PERFORMANCE / Ensembles
Tues. 8th March / Ensembles / Instrumental
Wed. 9th March / Instrumental / Ensembles

Ensemble Performances include members of: Orchestra, Rhythm Masters, Percussion Ensemble, Junior Choir (Y2 + Y3), Boys Choir (Y3 – Y6) & Senior Choir (Y4, Y5 + Y6).

Instrumental Performances include children who receive instrumental lessons in school on the following instruments: guitar, ukulele, mandolin, ‘cello, violin, trumpet, trombone, bassoon, clarinet, flute & recorder.

All children who are members of an ensemble and / or have instrumental lessons in school, will be performing in these concerts. I fully understand if our 7pm performances are too late for our Year 2 ensemble members & instrumental performers to participate in. Due to staging requirements it has not been possible to programme our youngest performers first, I anticipate each performance will last approximately 45 minutes.

Ticket Arrangements

We are very conscious the vast majority of our audiences for these performances are already paying for their child’s music lessons & with this in mind we have kept ticket prices as low as possible. Tickets are now available to purchase at a cost of £1 per person for one performance, with an initial limit of 2 tickets per family until Mon. 29th February. After this date remaining tickets will be released on a “first come, first served” basis. There will be 200 tickets available for each performance; once maximum capacity is reached ParentPay will not accept your registration so please do not delay purchasing!

Please note: when you first log in to ParentPay to buy your (possibly) initial 2 tickets, please be sure to purchase the maximum number you require / the system will allow you to purchase. If you purchase 1 ticket & then require a second ticket before 29thFebruary, the system will not allow you to purchase the second ticket.

For our 7pm performances children will need to be at school by 6.40pm please and should go directly to the small hall.

Children should wear school uniform for all our performances but NO JUMPERS please. To avoid jumpers getting lost, children will be told to leave their jumpers in their classrooms during our afternoon performances. For our evening performances please DO NOT wear jumpers to school. Thank you!

To conform to the Disability & Equality Act please inform the office in advance of any impairment related needs, you or anyone attending the concert may have.

Yours sincerely,

Emma Bright
