MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER
Joe Odda, Nominating Chair, called the Association Annual Meeting to order at 7:16 PM. A quorum of the Voting Members was present with 3,228 members represented. Legal counsel, Kathleen Reres, was also present.

Joe Odda, Nominating Chair, introduced fellow Committee members.
V. RULES & PROCEDURES
Since the rules and procedures were reviewed and accepted at the prior VM meeting, reading of the rules was not done at this meeting.
VI. REQUEST FOR QUESTIONS
Question forms were distributed to the Voting Members and members of the audience.
VII. INTRODUCTION OF DECLARED CANDIDATES
The declared candidates were Forrest Baumhover, Ruben Collazo, Russ Crooks, Keith Heinemann and Brian Ross.
VIII. NOMINATIONS FROM THE FLOOR
There were no nominations from the floor.
IX. COLLECTION OF QUESTIONS
Management staff collected the questions from the members. Questions were reviewed and selected by legal counsel and nominating committee member Joe Odda.
X. CANDIDATE INTRODUCTORY STATEMENTS (2 minutes each)
Each candidate was given two minutes for introductory remarks in the following order: Ruben Collazo, Russ Crooks, Forrest Baumhover, Keith Heinemann and Brian Ross. Ruben Collazo and Russ Crooks were up first as they were also seated as VM’s attending the meeting for their neighborhood
XI. CANDIDATES QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION
Immediately following introductory remarks, all candidates were requested to exit the room with Ruben and Russ agreeing to step out with the other candidates. Each candidate was then called one by one in for the Q&A session based on drawing of names.
XII. CANDIDATE CONCLUDING STATEMENTS (60 second each)
Each candidate was given 60 seconds minutes for concluding remarks in the reverse order of the introductory remarks: Brian Ross, Keith Heinemann, Forrest Baumhover, Russ Crooks and Ruben Collazo.
XIII. VOTING
The ballots were collected and counted by the Kathleen Reres-WCA legal counsel, Debbie Sainz-association manager, Charlotte Adams – association manager, Joe Odd – nominating committee chair.
XIV. TABULATION OF ELECTION COMMITTEE RESULTS
Forrest Baumhover - 21 votes
Ruben Collazo - 24 votes
Russ Crooks - 19 votes
Keith Heinemann - 21 votes
Brian Ross - 21 votes
Forrest, Ruben, Keith and Brian were elected to the Board of Directors for a two year term 09/2016-09/2018.
XV. CLOSE OF ELECTIONS & ACCEPT VOTE RESULTS
Joe Odda motioned to close the election and Nancy Sells seconded the motion. A vote was taken and motion passed 27-0
Joe Odda motioned to accept the voting results. Russ Crooks seconded the motion. A vote was taken with all in favor. 27-0
XVI. ADJOURNMENT
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 pm.
