College Day
Representatives from ASU, UofA, NAU, GCU and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will be visiting Lagos on Monday, December 18. Each classroom will have the opportunity to meet with the representatives and learn about the different colleges. Remember to wear your favorite college shirt.
New Students & Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for the Kyrene School District begins January 8, 2018. Apply online or pick up an application at your local school or the Kyrene District Office.
Open Enrollment applications are processed on a first-come first-served basis. District response occurs within 2 weeks of application date.
Who is eligible to apply?
- Students new to Kyrene, who are outside of District or School Boundaries. This includes siblings of existing students.
- Continuing Kyrene students, changing their school preference.
Taste of Kyrene Opportunity Drawing
Tickets are for sale at the Lagos Office. Tickets are $10 each.
Grand Prize #1 is a “Family Disney Adventure” valued at $1,000. Grand Prize #2 is a “Family SeaWorld Adventure” valued at $1,000. Winners will be drawn on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Taste of Kyrene Event. 50% of tickets sold by Lagos will go back to Lagos, 50% will benefit the Kyrene Foundation. It is extremely important that you call our 24 hour automated attendance line if your child is going to be absent. The number is 480-541-3201.
Students will be marked truant if parents (or guardians) do not notify the school office of their child’s absence.
