WEREWOLF BY NIGHT
EXT. TRANSELVANIA- VILLAGE- NIGHT
The village of Transelvania was crowded with many people walking around, the camera focuses on a man and his wife… the man’s name was Gregory Russoff, her name was Laura Russoff… Greg wraps his arm around his the woman he loved as long as he could remember… now was the moment he was waiting for.
GREGORY
Laura… Laura- I have been waiting for a long time to ask you this…
Laura looks towards him smiling, knowing what was to come.
LAURA
Yes?
GREGORY
Let’s get out of the village first.
Gregory, holding Laura’s hand walks off and away from the village and towards the woods.
EXT. TRANSYLVANIA- WOODS- NIGHT
Gregory and Laura stop next to a tree as Gregory gets down on his knees and looks up into Laura’s eyes…
GREGORY
I loved you since the moment I laid my eyes on you.
Laura smiles wiping her hair away from her eyes…
GREGORY (CONT’D)
Laura… will you marry me?
LAURA
I will…
Gregory smiles a tear falling down his eyes he gets back up and he places the ring onto her finger… they kiss.
GREGORY
I have to go, make the arrangements- well, this was great.
LAURA
Yeah…
GREGORY
I’ll send news by messenger immediately- I’ll see you later Laura…
Gregory runs off into the woods excitedly, not knowing of what was to come. Laura exits the woods and the camera follows as Greg happily runs through the woods as if in celebration… then we hear a rustling in the branches around him… Greg looks around nervously not knowing what was to come.
POV. WEREWOLF- TRANSYLVANIA- WOODS- NIGHT
The werewolf looks down towards it’s prey as it draws closer and closer towards Gregory.
EXT. TRANSYLVANIA- WOODS- NIGHT
Gregory looks around
GREGORY
Is anyone out there?
Greg turns his head as he looks towards the forest area to his side, he’s sure that he saw yellow eyes staring at him… Greg walks closer and closer towards the yellow eyes, the twigs underneath his feet snapping into segments.
GREGORY
Hello?
Gregory draws closer towards the yellow eyes, and then <POP OUT> a werewolf jumps out towards him, Gregory attempts to run away… he runs as fast as he could out of the woods and towards the village, but then a twig underneath his feet catches hold and he falls down, allowing the werewolf to come closer towards him…
GREGORY
Help!!!!!! Werewolf!!!! Werewolf!!!!
The full moon was shining up above them, as the werewolf bites down onto Gregory… and then the werewolf backs away swaying as the full moon gets clouded over by the clouds above, the werewolf now a man falls down onto Gregory… Gregory immediately gets up and starts to scramble away limping with every step he took.
EXT. LOS ANGELES
The camera goes flying through the city, as we see it in it’s early splendor.
INT. LOS ANGELES- RUSOFF HOME- OFFICE- DAY
Gregory was in his office typing notes onto the computer… he jots down a couple of points on his notebook. Laura walks in and looks towards him.
LAURA
Greg- it’s late come to bed.
GREGORY
No, I can’t Laura- I have to find the cure… I need to find it for our own safety… for theirs I can’t stop my research- I need to find the cure, it’s out there I know it is- it has to be.
LAURA
Greg…
GREGORY
I Can’t Laura, I’m sorry I need to do this-

INT. MEDICAL REASEARCH FACILITY- GREG’S OFFICE
Greg walks into his office and he types in codes into the computer…
GREGORY
Come on- come on…
<POP OUT> when Greg looks back up he sees a man there with a goatee staring straight towards him tapping his fingers on the door. The man was around 30 years old.
GREGORY
Oh hey Karl come on in I’ve been looking up on the research and by my calculations the serum must work…
KARL
Are you positive?
GREGORY
Yes…
(continues to type)
That’s odd…
KARL
What is it?
GREGORY
It seems like someone has been on here recently, part of the research is gone…
KARL
Are you serious?
GREGORY
Yeah, only I don’t get it- who would try to sabotage this project?
KARL
I surely have no idea, you know that if I did I would tell you-
GREGORY
Yes… I know-
KARL
Go on home Greg, it’s late the wife must be worried.
GREGORY
Yeah, you’re right-
KARL
I’m always right, we will have this little glitch figured out in a matter of days Greg- no need to concern yourself with it- go home.
Gregory looks towards Karl and then shakes his head “ok”
INT. LOS ANGELES- RUSOFF HOME- KITCHEN- MORNING
Laura looks towards her husband who was eating his breakfast.
LAURA
Gregory…
Gregory looks up towards her-
LAURA
There’s something you need to know-
Gregory looks into her eyes.
LAURA
I’m pregnant-
The camera zooms in towards his scarred eyes and then his eyes blare yellow.
INT. MEDICAL REASEARCH FACILITY- LABORATORY- NIGHT
The yellow eyes fade to the yellow lights that were brightly illuminating the lab. Greg quickly scans through his notes and he looks up at the moon
GREG
There has to be a cure- there has to be!!!!
The moon appears and it was full… Greg throws his arms against the potions and they fall to the ground shattering into glass and then he falls to his knees and he begins to transform into a werewolf he looks up towards the moon and begins to howl.
INT. LOS ANGELES- RUSOFF HOME- LIVING ROOM- NIGHT
Laura was crying, two police men were sitting next to her…
POLICEMAN1
We will look into the murder immediately…
Right then Laura’s water breaks…
POLICEMAN2
Get an ambulance…
EXT. LOS ANGELES STREETS- NIGHT
The ambulance goes quickly driving down the streets of LA
INT. HOSPITAL- DAY
Laura was in a hospital room and doctors were standing around her as she pushes, the baby comes out.
DOCTOR
It’s a boy.
A nurse cuts and the umbilical cord handing the baby towards its mother. Laura smiles looking towards the baby-
LAURA
Jack…
Laura smiles, the camera zooms in towards the babies eyes- they blare bright yellow and then they go back into being normal color.
EXT. SAN DIEGO- DAY
JACK (V.O.)
I never was able to see my father, my mother says he died before I was born in the war. Whenever I would ask about my father she would tell me to leave it alone, so I did- for eighteen years I have never known anything about my father… until now.
INT. NORTH SAN DIEGO HIGHSCHOOL- CLASS ROOM- DAY
18 YEARS LATER…
Jack was sitting at one of the desks in the back, sitting across from him was his best friend since kindergarten Kyle Wargburton
JACK
Pss…
Kyle looks towards Jack.
JACK
You going to Matt’s party this weekend?
KYLE
I don’t know man- my dad grounded me… jeez, this really blows.
JACK
I know what you’re saying pal… listen have you heard anything from Samantha yet?
KYLE
No, nothing why? Wait- hear what kind of thing?
JACK

Jack sits back in his chair and faces forward, in the front a 50 year old Global teacher was holding up a book…
TEACHER
And that is where the word Dracula derived from- Vlad Dracula, he was a man that would actually gather the blood of his fallen enemies and drink it- the first cannibal ever written about in history… for those of you who like science fiction- or as I prefer to title it fantasy, they say that he had his own slaves that were of a breed unbeknownst to man kind, that his slaves were part man… and part wolf- what we have came to lovingly call “werewolf”
KYLE
Man- do you buy all of this crap?
Jack keeps on watching the front as though in a trance.
KYLE
Hey Jack buddy- Jack are you okay?
Jack looks towards Kyle afraid-
KYLE
Jack what is it?
Jack looks towards the front board, we begin to hear voices of laughter, rain and the cry of wolves… Jack gets up and runs out of the room.
KYLE
Jack?
TEACHER
You’re not excused Mr. Russell-
INT. NORTH SAN DIEGO HIGHSCHOOL- MAIN HALLWAY- DAY
Jack runs through the halls and towards the bathroom, he enters the men’s room and he walks in.
INT. NORTH SAN DIEGO HIGHSCHOOL- BATHROOM - DAY
Jack walks into the men’s room, walking as though he was dizzy… he gets to the mirror and he splashes water onto his face… but, he still felt worse, he stares towards the mirror and his eyes begin to glow bright yellow and he begins to grow fangs… Jack quickly turns away from the mirror afraid of what he was becoming and then he looked back and he saw his own reflection, nothing more- nothing less… what ever had happened it was gone now- hopefully forever, but.
INT. RUSSELL FAMILY HOME- KITCHEN- DAY
Laura was walking in the kitchen and she look’s over towards the man she had married just about, 17 years ago- his name was Phil.
PHIL
Some things never last Laura- all I’m telling you is to be careful we can’t take any chances… not now, not ever.
LAURA
But, what if he didn’t inherit that side of his father? What if he never does become a werewolf.
PHIL
Then that will be good, but still we can not risk it- if anyone ever finds out our son’s life would be in danger- no one can ever know of what he is capable of, they never will.
LAURA
I believe that if he was to become a werewolf he would have transformed already…
PHIL
We have no way of telling that Laura- anything can happen… I love him as much as you do, I love him like he was my own. He means so much to me- and to you; I’d hate to see anything bad happen to him- and you know that…
LAURA
Yes, I do- it’s just that…
(a tear falls down her eyes)
I’m afraid of what will happen if they do find out.
PHIL
Hey-
(he embraces her)
Nothing will ever happen to him, ok-
(brushes her hair away from her eyes)
I promise, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure he is safe, that he will always be safe-

LAURA

PHIL
No, I don’t think he knows- I don’t think he ever will.
LAURA
I think we should tell him, at least about his father-
PHIL
The boy shouldn’t ever know about it… what would he think? About us hiding it from him, about us hiding him from the truth…
LAURA
He needs to know- it’s a part of who he is… of who he will always be.
PHIL
If he ever has the slightest bit of worry that something bad is happening, then- and only then will we ever tell him Laura…
LAURA
I don’t-
PHIL
Only then Laura-
Laura shakes her head “ok”, we hear the door open and then close Jack walks in towards the kitchen.
JACK
Hey mom, hey dad…
PHIL
How was school today sport?
JACK
Oh you know the same old bull shit…
LAURA
Jack watch your mouth-
PHIL
Laura he’s about to turn eighteen years old in a matter of days- he’s a man now… and a man swares right kido?
Jack grins…
LAURA
Well, I don’t like it- I don’t like it at all…
PHIL
Let me give you a bit of advice son-
(he leans in and whispers)

Laura walks in and clears her throat…
PHIL

LAURA
Are you going with anyone to the party this weekend Jack?
JACK
I don’t know yet…
LAURA
Why don’t you ask that nice Megan girl if she wants to go?
JACK

PHIL
Still trying to woo her over huh?
JACK
Dad… come on- just give it a break…
PHIL
How would you know if Samantha doesn’t want to go with you if you never ask her?
JACK
I’m just afraid she’ll say no.

The longer you wait, the more chances of just that-

Jack begins to walk away
PHIL

Jack was up stairs already, Laura looks towards Phil and clears her throat.
LAURA
Samantha eh?
PHIL
Yeah, that’s the girl he liked since the beginning of Senior year.
LAURA
And how would you know this?
The question makes Phil laugh grinning
PHIL
He’s my son- the father knows these kinds of things…
INT. RUSSELL FAMILY HOME- JACK’S BEDROOM- DAY
Jack walks into his bedroom, beginning to feel dizzy once again- he moves around the room and then he plummets to the ground and he closes his eyes.
EFFECTS: WE ARE TAKEN INTO JACK’S DNA AND WE SEE IT ALREADY BEGINNING TO MUTATE.
INT. LOS ANGELES- MALUS ENTERPRISES- BOARD MEMBER ROOM- DAY
The meeting room was held in a rectangular room with the side facing out completely covered with windows. In the very center of the room was a wooden rectangle table with seats seated around it. And the wall that was facing inside had office windows built in with blinds… all in all this room had a sense of isolation, with it’s window walls and just one wall of full white. Malus was at the end in which the white wall laid, and he looked over the board members facing him on either side. Malus was a man of many moral beliefs, but many of these did not reflect good. He was around 50 years old with a gray mustache and hair…
MALUS
Now, more than ever this project is needed to work… a serum that will render anyone who it comes in contact with super human strength and ability… I am trying right now to get the werewolf DNA to further my research.
