Welcome to the Independence Blue Cross (Independence) Medicare sales presentation!

A few things about using this file:

■  Equipment requirements: This presentation was designed for MS PowerPoint 2016 and a HP EliteBook 820 (Windows) laptop. The presentation will run on Apple computers. However it is important to test the file on your machine. Note: The presentation was not designed to run on tablets, such as the iPad.

■  The presentation is designed to play using PowerPoint 2016.

■  Your monitor should be set to 1024x768 resolution

■  You will need the presentation saved as a file on your laptop. Do not run the presentation from a USB, CD or other remote device.

■  You will want to restart your computer each time before running the presentation.

■  Do not start any other applications before presenting; turn off those that start automatically.

■  Make sure your volume settings on your computer are set to a good level, and your external speakers are also set properly.

■  The presentation will play best if you run it through top to bottom once before you present. This loads the animations into your computer’s memory, and makes it run more smoothly.

■  To run the presentation open the file in Microsoft PowerPoint, and click “SlideShow”

Using the Walk-in presentation:

The Walk-In – A series of “Did You Know?” facts set to music. It runs on a continuous loop and is a separate file from the sales presentation. For best use, open up both the walk-in presentation and the appropriate sales presentation. You can start the loop 15 mins, 10 mins or 5 mins ahead of the presentation, simply go to the slide that indicates that time and then go into slide show mode and the loop and music will start up. When you want to stop the walk-in presentation, hit ESC (escape), start the sales presentation slide show at slide 1.

If you do not want to use the walk-in and just want to start the presentation simply go to slide 1 of the appropriate sales presentation.

A final note on the presentation:

·  This presentation was designed to have the pre-recorded sections run as built. The goal is to ensure compliant information is being shared when tackling tricky topics like Part D coverage and to allow the agent to focus on the true content – the product.

·  If at any point the pre-recorded sections are not working you can run these slides manually. Simply highlight the slides you want to run yourself and go to the ANIMATION tab at the top of your computer screen. On the far right will appear a section called “Advance Slide”. Make sure only “On Mouse Click” is checked. Remove any check in the “Automatically After” box. Then hit the mute button (the little speaker with a line through it) on your computer keyboard to stop the audio.

If you accidentally delete a slide or manipulate your presentation in any way please download a new file from the Broker eStore.
