Test 3 date:

The other test dates will be on the course website www.maths.unp.ac.za/math once the dates have been finalized.

If you miss a test due to illness, sporting or other commitments, and you supply a doctor’s certificate no later than 24 hours after the test or an official letter before the test, you may qualify to do the end-of-semester make-up test, covering the whole semester’s work.

On-line Moodle quizzes make up 10% of your Class Mark.

Class Tests 1, 2 and 3 each make up 30% of your Class Mark.

The Class Mark makes up 33.33% of the final mark. The May exam makes up 66.67% of the final mark. If your final mark is in the range 40 – 49%, you are allowed to write a supplementary exam in July. The supplementary exam mark replaces your May exam mark but your class mark still counts.

The final date of withdrawal from semester 1 modules is Friday 9 April 2010.

Best wishes (or in Zulu, ngikufisela okuhle kodwa!, in French, meilleurs, in Spanish, los mejores deseos, in Dutch, beste wensen, in Finnish, onnea) for your studies in 2010.
