Welcome to another week at Toll Middle School, this is Dr. Crowther with announcements concerning the week ahead.

The deadline for Free and Reduced Lunch Applications is rapidly approaching next month. Students who qualify must reapply each year or the service will be cutoff. Apply through the district website at Please apply, even those who do not intend to take advantage of the program as our funding is largely tied to the number of households who apply and who qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Attention 7th and 8th graders: The updated community service forms are ready! You can pick one up in the counseling office at snack, lunch or after school. Community service is optional; this means it is NOT required. If you complete 25 verified service hours, you may earn a community service pin. 8th graders who want to promote with Gold Honors this year will need to complete Community Service as well.

STEM Program applications are available for 7th and 8th grade students in the attendance office and in Mrs. Nishimoto's room, 1334. The afterschool program runs fromWednesday, September 14 to Wednesday, November 9. Applications are due byTuesday, September 6, by 3:00 p.m.in Mrs. Nishimoto's room, 1334.

If you would like to play the piano or any other instrument on Banking Day Fridays from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., please contact Ms. Lily in the Administration Office. You will get an hour of community service each time you play. Show your talent, Titans!!!

Shout out to the ASB, Mr. Yi and our Foundation and PTA for their collaboration on a successful first dance. Presently, the ASB is continuing flash drives and bag sales throughThursday, in Tollywood during lunch for $5 each.

Finally, a reminder that this Friday, September 2 is a non-school day for students, followed by an additional day-off on Monday, September 5 in honor of Labor Day.
