Ben & Pat Burkey & family - in the home going of their son, Anthony Smith, on October 8. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, October 14 at Oaklawn Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church. Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Janet Frye - undergoing treatments for cancer.

Jean Wilson - is recovering from heart surgery.

Linda Ashburn - (Cliff’s sister) has been diagnosed with cancer and will begin treatments soon.

Carrie Brewer - had a heart procedure today to get her heart in rhythm. The procedure went well and she is at home.

Ted Dotson - (Susie Groce’s nephew) has cancer in his lungs and liver.

James & Julie Kieser & family - in the home going of Julie’s grandfather, Jim Williams, on October 6.

Austin Frye - as he serves in the Coast Guard.

Email received from Tim & Pam Darling today: First of we want to thank everyone that sent us an email expressing your prayer support for our trip and funeral service for Tim's mother. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your moral and spiritual support. Today at 6:50 pm we leave Montreal, Canada to Spain. We will have a two hour layover in Amsterdam and then arrive to Madrid, Spain, Thursday at 12:05 noon. When we get back we will have a choir seminar on Friday night and Saturday morning with Dennise Flower. Saturday afternoon our church will host the area wide youth rally (7 other churches are involved). Then we will have to reschedule our annual Mission's Conference that was cancelled when we left for the States. One other thing, we will start seminary classes on Monday the 17th.Your continued and constant prayers for us will again be greatly appreciated.

Pray for the Awana Clubs and Youth Ministries that are being held this evening.

Pray for the outreach to Diggs-Latham School.

Pray for “Journey to Bethlehem” Outreach.

Pray for Pastor Kivett as he serves as Senior Pastor.
