What’s included in this course?
This course is the Academy of Performance’s (A.P.C’s) Basic, Intermediate and AdvancedUnarmed Syllabus Course,the exam to be held on the afternoon of the last day. This course is designed for people with no experience or for those who are looking to gain more qualifications or simply to get back into doing stage combat.
Classes will begin at 9.30.am and finish approximately 5.30pm
There is a choice of three courses;
Basic: for those who have not done any stage combat or do not hold any stage qualifications.
Intermediate: for those who hold a Basic qualification or higher (you have a choice either the Basic or Intermediate course depending on how you wish to approach the subject and what you are looking for)
Advanced: for those who hold Intermediate or higher.

Stage combat like all forms of Athletics and physical actives has a small element of risk. Every effort has been made to ensure your safety over this week. Neither Guildford School of Actingor The APC will accept responsibility for negligence from participants who fail to take into account their own personal safety as well as the safety of other participants during this week.
It is accepted that participants on the course will follow the rules set below:
1. Any participant with any personal injury, medication or personal condition MUST before beginning of the course inform the one of the instructors.
2. No participant will be allowed to take part in any of the activities if they are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refunds will be given.
3. Please wear appropriate clothing for the sessions. No jeans, hard shoes or jewellery. Sports gear only.
4. Every effort is made with security. Please do not bring valuables unless they are essential. The venue or the APC /teaching staff will not be held responsible for items that are lost or missing.
5. Should you sign for the course and fail to attend no refund will be given.
6. Should you be unable to make the course, a refund will be given if you contact Guildford School of Actingat least 48 hours before commencement of the course minus the deposit for the course.
7. All information provided on the initial application form for the participant is accurate at the time of application.
8. The course will only take place with the minimum of 8 participants.
