Excellent and educational Web site created by teachers for teachers whose students range in grade from preschool all the way up to high school. Resources on this Web site include a break down of math skills by grade level and subject matter. Also included on this Web site are various activities, puzzles, worksheets, and test preps. This Web site would be very useful in finding fun and creative ways to teach students of all grade levels different math skills. Resources provided on this Web site could be useful in the classroom to help create lesson plans, prepare students for test, and provide students new and fun creative ways to learn math.

This Web site is an excellent Web site especially for younger school aged children that are learning any form of mathematics. Provided on this Web site are various interactive math oriented games that range in subject from telling time to learning fractions. Links to top educational Web sites for teacher and parents are also provided. This site is worthwhile due to the volume of subjects that are covered and the subject of the games. Games on this site include Pizza Party to help students learn fractions, Arithmetic Games which gives students various multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division problems to solve. This site could be used in the classroom to teach numerous subjects. Primary games give students an opportunity to have fun and also learn math at the same time.

Provided on this Web site are various lesson plans, tips, resources, worksheets, and activities for teachers grades kindergarten through high school. This Web site includes various activity ideas on how to teach children the basics of fractions and decimals, as well as how to convert fractions to decimals. Teachnology also provides worksheets makers and teacher workbooks. Information on this Web site would be very useful in the classroom because it provides ideas for hands on activities to do with students that will teach them the essential skills needed to learn fractions and decimals. Ways the resources that this Web site provide could be used in the classroom is by providing worksheets for the students to work on , or by aiding the teacher in coming up with creative activities for the students to do.

This is a Web site provided by Utah State University. It provides interactive Web-based manipulatives and tutorials for all grade levels of math students. Concepts covered on this Web site range from number operations to data analysis and probability. This would be a great tool to use to teach students various math skills using manipulatives. The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives could be very useful in the classroom due to the fact that a teacher would be able to allow each student to focus on areas they are struggling in with the use of the various manipulatives that are provided.

Virted is a Web site that provides visuals, information, and quizzes on the use of decimals within everyday life. Information provided on this Web site includes how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals. Also provided are decimals and money, percents, and metric measurement activities. This Web site would be very useful in being able to show students with graphics how decimals are used in everyday life. Another interesting aspect of this Web site is that it provides fun and interactive quizzes with sound about decimals. This Web site could be used in the classroom to provide students with information as well as to test them on the use of decimals. If a teacher wanted to give the students a fun and special “quiz” every now and then, he or she could allow the student to take the quiz regarding decimals that is provided on this Web site.
