I, ______(Please PRINT your name) agree to behave in an appropriate, professional, and young adult manner in Ms. Sawyer’s Web Design course.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. NO Talking once the bell rings.
  2. No Gum Chewing at any time!
  3. Following all instructions, both written and verbal.
  4. No playing any games on the computer or any hand-held device at any time!!!!
  5. Not talking on or using a cell phone for any reason in class at anytime. (All cell phones MUST be turned OFF while on campus, this is a DISTRICT policy.) If you need to call a parent/guardian you MUST use a teachers phone, with permission, or go to the front office and have them call.
  6. Not changing the status of any file(s), putting ALL work for this class in your E-Folder.
  7. Not putting files on the network without permission or files not related to this course in your ASCP folder.
  8. Not going to any inappropriate website(s) or non-academic website(s), you may NOT “surf” the web without written or verbal approval of the instructor, INCLUDING NO E-Mail or Instant Messaging chat rooms.
  9. Not downloading/uploading anything onto/from the computer, including clipart without the express written or verbal consent of the Instructor.
  10. Not using ANY programs besides:

WEB DESIGN BEHAVIOR CONTRACT

  1. Working ONLY on academic work for this class.
  2. Taking NOTES DAILY in an adult fashion, with great detail using the “Cornell” note taking style of writing notes, Notes are a graded portion of this class.
  3. Eating NO food or drink in the classroom without the express consent of the instructor.
  4. Not having any inappropriate material on your assigned computer.
  5. If there is any inappropriate material on your computer you are required to inform the Instructor immediately.
  6. All students are required to adhere to the school dress code, including no wearing of pajamas.
  7. All students are required and expected to behave according to the 13 character traits. These traits are posted in every classroom in school.
  8. All students are expected to adhere to all VHS rules at all times and are expected to behave in an adult manner at all times.
  9. No memory sticks, floppy disks, CD’s, using FTP, E-Mail or any devices/software of this nature. ALL work must be done in class. (Time is provided for all work to be completed during class, and offices hours are available Monday – Thursday mornings before the start of school.)

This contract is separate from the school, district computer usage, and Internet agreements, and is for Ms. Sawyer’s classes only. Both Valencia High School’s and the District’s contracts are still in effect and this contract is in addition to those.

Failure to follow any of these classroom rules will result in an immediate referral and possible removal from this class with NO CREDIT.
