We are a friendly walking group who meet every Wednesday at 6.45pm to start walking at 7pm for approximately 1 hour. All our leaders have undergone Walking for Health training and each week lead a choice of 2, 3 or 4 mile circular routes. Our 2 mile route is always adaptable to a shorter walk and an additional leader is available should a shorter introductory walk be required.

We are a sister group of STORM Running who in addition to their successful running groups theyorganise other activities which our members are welcome to join.

Everyone is welcome to our walks, we have no age or fitness restrictions, most of our routes are suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Accompanied children are welcome but a responsible adult must walk in the same group as them, on dark evenings we provide lit arm bands to make you visible and recommend walkers bring a torch. Our leaders want to work with you whatever your fitness goal so please contact us with any questions.
