Attendance Matters

Being in, and on time is vitally important for your child’s education. We are aiming to get our school attendance over 96% this year. Last year it fell below 94%. More information will follow.

Any child reaching 100% for a term will received a special certificate and a gift token as a reward.

School Uniforms.

Thank you for all your efforts keeping the children looking smart in their uniforms last term. It makes a difference to the ethos and the learning around school. Currently the uniform is still the red sweat shirt, white polo and black or grey trousers or skirts. Please can shoes be black if possible. We are aiming for a 100% full uniform September!

This is the last year of the red uniforms, as of September 2016, we will be using the new navy and light blue uniforms. Every child who is registered at the school in September 2016 will receive a free uniform sweatshirt and tee shirt if funds allow.

PE Kits

A reminder, we supply the children with indoor PE kits. These are kept in school and washed frequently.

Your child may need to bring in pumps or trainers for outdoor use. Your class teacher will inform you of the PE days. Children do indoor PE in bare feet and outdoor in trainers or pumps.

Miss Heath

Miss Heath continues to be off school as she is receiving treatment for her illness. We have been in touch over the summer and she is now back at home. We will keep you informed of any developments, hopefully Miss Heath will be well enough to have visitors and even visit us soon.
