Boarding & Daycare Agreement
Happy Hound Hotel is committed to providing a happy, safe and fun place for your dog. Our facility is cage-less and your dog will roam free to socialize with other dogs. Our clientele generally consists of larger, more active dogs, but exceptions are occasionally be made on a case-by-case basis.
We supervise all dogs in our care, but cannot control every situation. We will correct dogs that misbehave thru verbal commands, sprayers, and time-outs to divert and refocus their attention.
In order to prevent over-stimulation and reduce chance of injuries, we have daily scheduled nap time. Additionally, we have regularly scheduled meals, and more active vs. less active playtimes.
As with any activity involving exposure of your dog to other dogs, there is an increased chance of injury or the development of illness. We take every precaution possible to reduce this risk, but we cannot totally eliminate it. Examples of common injuries are sore feet and joints, bruises, scrapes, and scratches. Common illnesses are minor respiratory infections and digestive problems. However, the overall risks of having your dog in this type of environment are considerably less than visiting a dog park. If the need arises for veterinary service and your designated vet is unavailable, we will consult a qualified vet of our choosing.
We request that you bring your own food, however if you prefer, we can provide a high quality dry food for an additional fee. As a supplement to your dog’s diet, we will provide a variety of special goodies to accompany your dog’s regular meal, at no additional cost to you.
