Following is a listing of local camps and summer activities. Players interested in improving their skill level and/or trying out for Varsity next season should attend at least one camp this summer and participate in our program’s summer league (details below). If you are interested in any out-of-state camps, please see Genny or consult the March issue of Lacrosse magazine.
BOULDER GIRLS LACROSSE SUMMER PROGRAMS
BoCo Summer Lacrosse League (Youth and High School)
Warrior Girls is partnering with the Boulder and Fairview boys to run a summer clinic for a five-week summer lacrosse league. We will work on fundamentals and scrimmage. Our objective is to get every player on the same page over the summer. Please plan to come to as many sessions as you can (we can pro-rate the fee).
June15-18: Free Introductory week for all interested "first time" players, 3:30-5:30pm
June22-July 23: Five week clinic begins; Monday through Thursday every week
Youth Session (age 7 to incoming 8th grade): Mon/Wed 3:30-5:30, Tues/Thurs 3-5pm
High School (incoming 9th grade to 12th grade), Mon/Wed 5:30-7:30, Tues/Thurs 5-7pm
Warrior Girls Youth Camp
Our annual youth summer camp (incoming 1st to 9th grade) will be held Monday-Thursday, July 13-16, 9am-12noon, at CentaurusHigh School. For more information, contact Genny Horning.

Players from each league’s first and second teams will participate in a round-robin tournament. All-Americans, conference MVPs, conference Coaches of the Year and Pam Bent Award will be announced.
Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Jamboree for the College Bound

Games Played Saturday May 30th Only
The Jamboree is one of the top lacrosse events in the world and had 289 teams participate last year. We host competition for girl’s grades 3 thru 12. Women’s coaches will conduct recruiting talks, coach’s clinics, skills clinics and more throughout the weekend. We are not sending a team this year. If you are interested in playing as an individual, free agents will be placed on a team by the rules committee. Individual registration is $35. Graduating seniors welcome.
Sunday All Star Competition by Invitation Only:If you receive first or second team recognition by our league in 2009 you are automatically invited to register individually to play for your All-League All-Star Team. Team 180, Blue Sky and other regional teams have been invited to compete against Colorado’s League All-Star Teams on Sunday afternoon. Individual All-League registration $35. See for details.
U-19 Team Colorado "Vail Lacrosse Shootout" Tryouts
May 31, 9am-12noon (during the Rocky Mountain Jamboree events). The Vail tournament is June 28-July 1.
