NetSetGo Muster Days

At the NetSetGo Muster days coaching and registration information will be provided as well

as netball clinics for prospective players provided by Rovers Netball Club players

17 March 2017 4.30pm – 5.30pm

24 March 2017 4.30pm - 5.30pm

2017 NETBALL VICTORIA MEMBERSHIP

All 2017 Netball Victoria and Wangaratta Netball Association memberships are to be purchased online via the link on the Wangaratta Netball Association website including completion of Online Registration Form

If you do not have an email address as part of your Netball Victoria membership or not sure please email with your details including participant name and date of birth and we will add an email address so that you can purchase online

Online registrations for NetSetGo Program open between 24 March to 5 August 2017

Registration

·  Team Manager/Coach to submit Team Registration form with names of all players intending to play with team recorded at the time of registration

·  Under Netball Victoria regulations introduced in 2017 all adult coaches, team managers and umpires must provide evidence of a valid working with children check

·  Team coach responsible for ensuring WNA Committee has evidence of payment of 2017 NetSetGo membership before player takes the court

·  Participant packs will be distributed directly to each participant from the time of their registration. Please allow 21 days delivery after registration. Please ensure your delivery details are correct when registering

·  An adult contact name and phone number must be listed on Team Registration Sheet who will be the liaison for all communication purposes

·  Team name to be recorded on Team Registration sheet. Do not use School name then number team 1, 2 3 etc. Team name cannot be changed after registration dates

·  Players, coaches and umpires unable to pay Membership fees Online can pay by cash or cheque at Clubrooms. Additional $5 administration fee applies for this service. A completed and signed Registration Form must be provided

NetSetGo player (includes participation pack & postage) $116 (NV $56 + WNA $60)

Non-playing Junior Umpire or Coach $56 (NV $51 + WNA $5)

Non-playing Senior Umpire or Coach $76 (NV $51 + WNA $5)

Additional Administrative fee for offline registration $5

Additional Information – Team Managers/Coaches

Conduct of Game

·  NetSetGo players cannot play in the Junior competition

·  Team representative to report to the appropriate window at least 10 minutes before the scheduled game start time

·  No jewellery, earrings or adornment may be worn during the game

·  All players to be in appropriate uniform when taking the court (Girls-skirt; Boys-sport shorts). Long sleeved tops and leggings permitted during cold weather

·  Only NetSetGo coaches are allowed to coach along sidelines or when umpiring to explain the rules of the game

·  All players should receive equal court time during the season and have the opportunity/encouraged to play all different positions

·  No score is recorded for games

·  Only in NetSetGO can players be moved from one team to another to ensure a game can be played. Wangaratta Netball Association’s aim is to maximize on court practice as part of learning for NetSetGO players

Injury

·  In NetSetGo games the umpires should use their own discretion when allowing a player to return to the game. This applies to players arriving late as well as players who have left the game for injury or under the blood policy

·  All injuries to be reported to the Clubrooms and complete an Injury Incident form at the discretion of the injured player or players’ guardian

·  Blood rule – any player who is bleeding must be removed from the court immediately to be attended too
