PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Parish Council on Tuesday, 5th September 2017 at 7.00 p.m. to be held in the Village Hall, School Lane, Walton, WF2 6PA to transact the following business:
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest.
3. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 4th July 2017.
4. To be notified of matters accomplished or arisen since the last meeting not included elsewhere on the Agenda.
5. Public forum session – To permit members of the public to make representations, answer questions, and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda.
6. To receive a report on the SAFE scheme and Police matters.
7. To receive a report from WMDC Ward 5 Councillors.
8. Finance –
1. To receive the report of the External Auditor.
2. To approve accounts to be paid, already paid under delegated powers and income received July & August 2017.
3. To receive a budget monitor for the 5-month period April to August 2017.
4. To consider re-investment options of Council reserves.
5. To consider renewal of the fee for hosting and support for the website: £110.00 (last year: £110.00).
9. To consider correspondence received.
10. Planning Working Party.
1. To consider planning applications validated and decided July and August 2017.
2. To receive an update on the Grove, Brook Farm and School Lane developments.
11. Village Hall and Coronation Cottage Working Party - to receive reports.
i. To consider quotes/contract for the provision of electricity to the Village Hall.
ii. To consider a quote for line marking equipment for the Village Hall car park.
iii. To receive a report from Working for Walton on the Scarecrow Festival, Christmas plans and to consider a request for use of the Recreation ground on 3rd December 2017.
12. Recreation & Playgrounds Working Party - to receive reports.
i. To receive two quotes for replacement of playground equipment, consider reserves for the renewal of equipment and approve wording for Kompan competition application.
13. Environmental Improvements Working Party.
i. To consider a draft policy on Bench Sponsorship.
ii. To consider providing floral displays for Summer 2018 and if so, to consider the potential supplier.
14. Tree Working Party - to receive reports.
15. To consider applications received for grants.
16. To consider amending Councillor addresses as listed on the Notice Board and/or website to the Village Hall address.
17. To receive updates on the Neighbourhood Plan projects.
18. To receive matters reported directly to the Clerk.
